Summary: Read it in ONE DAY!!!
Review: Purchasing this book is the best thing i have done for myself. I keep it with me everywhere i go to look up anything as i practice. This author did an extremely excellent job in the way he wrote this book. Everything is in detail and he also shares his positive and negative experiences, so that we, his readers, can learn from it. He gives so many examples, and shares his stories in detail. This book answers alot of questions and is definitely great for a beginner. I bought this book as a gift for someone and they love it just as much as i do. If anything, give it a try. It is also the best thing you can do for yourself. I rate this book higher than 5 star, it really is great.

Summary: Very easy to follow. I have just one objection
Review: Thank you for an excellent book that is easy to follow and simple to read. The steps are easy and achievable. I love the book. I have one objection though. On page 93 you say in large capitals "Never advise a person to do something against his or her doctors advice" That sentance should iether have been left out, or it should been given as advice from you. Most doctors become doctors for the status and the money, not the want to help or heal. Ask Patch Adams. Very few doctors are good at diagnosing. All you need to become a doctor is an excellent short term memory and a lot of money to study. Psychic intervention has saved many people from doctor's mistakes.

Summary: Reading is Entertaining
Review: The book describes only that, Psychic Development for beginners. This is the first book I have ever read on Psychic Development and have managed to accomplish a few task of the 44 exercises given. I am very pleased Mr. Hewitt did mention in his book about Psychic's not to play doctor and not advising someone to do something against's doctors orders. As I am learning more about Psychic Development I can see why Mr. Hewitt would mention this phrase in his book. Too many Psychic's are pretending to heal the sick with negative results, I can say this with authority because I am in the medical field. I personally feel I can use Psychic abilities in my practice but with limitations. I have seen more than my share of very ill patients who would be alive today, if only Psychic healers knew their true limitations of practice. I will purchase other books by William W Hewitt.

Review: The book is full of the author's anecdotal experiences with no independant verifications cited. The exercises are typical of hypnotic scripts used in guided imagery sessions. In regards to the recreational vehicle problem cited; the author needs to be aware that an engine does not quit running because it has a bad starter?

Review: The book is simply so good at what it claims to be: an easy (and comprehensive) guide to releasing and developing YOUR psychic abilities.This book does a great deal in helping the average person realise what they didn't know they've been missing, and empowers us with the ability that most humans are fast forgetting.

Summary: Is a great book, but not the best out there
Review: This book is a rare find in the fact that it dispells alot of flasity and myth concerning the psychic realm, though it is incomplete in many respects. His techiniques are simple and effective if followed as they are presented and will give results quikly. I do not agree with hewitt on the point about not reading or needing the more esoteric principals of other authors, as alot of the psychic work he uses is derived from these pricipals. Visualization is creation on higher planes, also affirmations do the same, but through a different prosses. I do not agree with his somewhat religous views regrding cosmic consciousness and all that, or that these aspects of the mind are all there is. He states that it goes Physical, Mental, then Higher mental, and cosmic consciousness. This, I feel, is a vauge oversimplification of the higher planes of reality, but they are a nice way to look at the subject i suppose. All in all, this is a very practicle book that one should aquire if the study of the more psychic levels in a begginer type fashion is desired.

Summary: Best Psychic book ever - extremely perfect guide!
Review: This book is absolutely amazing. From the first time I picked up the book and read the back cover, I got hooked on it as it swept me off my feet and into the psychic world... I just HAD to buy it... Willam W. Hewitt explains very well and step by step how to perform certain psychic abilities and also develop them. In the book, you start out in an introduction where it explains very well what it's all about and what being psychic means, what psychic is, how it is not impossible as lots of people believe and it'll get you to read another chapter. The book is very well structured as it's easy to read and very understandable for anyone to get into. You are then tought about the functions of the brain frequency and how to alter it. Then you are taken a journey on relaxing and concentrating your energies for psychic abilities. The book then explains how visualization improves your psychic skills and performance as it gives you very good exercises to improve your visualization skills. In the middle of the book, it starts telling you how to perform psychic abilities such as Psychic Healing, Telepathy, Clairvoyance, and quite, QUITE a few more... The exercises are very well structured as STEP by STEP (literally), it tells you what to do and how to do it... The things it has tought me and is STILL teaching me, are amazing, gazing into the future, the past, another place, contacting and healing other people, entities (ghosts), and animals and even healing yourself... You WILL LOVE this book... Two only things I got a little dissapointed from the book, I did mention LITTLE :) Well, one is that William doesn't exactly explain a lot of what you should feel or see on some exercises, this sometimes leaves you thinking, "Did it work? Or did I do something wrong? What am I supposed to see/feel?" The second thing is that it doesn't teach you Telekinesis! Telekinesis is not included on the book whatsoever... Not even mentioned! Though, you will learn a lot of stuff about ESP, Telepathy, Psychic Healing, Shields and a lot more things... I definetely give this book 5 stars and I give it around 97% and I tell you to freaking stop doubting and reading reviews and BUY the book! ;) Kayron James Mercieca
