Daily stresses the importance of not making oneself "too easy" to obtain, and letting the man have enjoy the ingrained desire to pursue and win female affection. Therefore, among the most stringent rules for a an eligible woman are: never ask a man out on a date, never call a man, and never so much as say the word "marriage" to him until he is the one ready to say it. Perhaps the most crucial advice in Stop Getting Dumped! is the importance of building and maintaining one's own life, instead of trying to live "through" a boyfriend or making one's existence dependent on him - which is powerful, sound, and appropriate principle for people of both genders. Written in clear and straightforward language, Stop Getting Dumped! may have some controversial advice, but its core foundation is quite solid and highly worthy of extended consideration.

Summary: The BEST Dating Book I Have Ever Read!
Review: Stop Getting Dumped! is great!! Lisa Daily's advice is fun, easy to do and really effective! I heard her on the Howard Stern show, and even HE was charmed by Daily's Dream Girl dating advice. If this woman can turn Howard Stern into a teddy bear, imagine what her methods can do for mere mortal men!I loved this book. It was hilarious, it made me feel empowered and when I finished reading it, I went right back to page one. I am now in control of my own dating destiny. I'm a Dream Girl!!

Summary: Don't Waste Your Money
Review: There are many good self-help books about relationships out there--this isn't one of them though. This is not written for the 30 or 40-something year old. Some of the advice reminds me of the book that was out a few years ago called "The Rules" which basic theory was that women should never ask men out and should play coy and hard to get, regardless of your age or situation in life. Sit back and let the men come to you. In the real world, it is necessary to realize that women also need to take some initiative in attracting or getting dates. Making no effort to let a guy know you're interested is actually riskier than being turned down by someone. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Most women 40-something and over do not want to play games. This book promotes game-playing in my opinion and continues to stack the deck against women in general. There are better books out there. Wish I'd saved my $.

Review: This book doesn't add any new information or even any new thoughts. It is very similar to The Rules. Some of the concepts are OK, but the tone felt condescending. It took maybe an hour to read, and afterwards I actually threw it in the trash. I would be too embarrassed to take this to a second hand store; not because of the title, but because of the lame content. If you're into this approach, just read The Rules instead.

Summary: Simple advice...but so true!!
Review: This book has definitely changed my outlook on relationships! It gives you an understanding of how to find the right one for you...who loves you for you. And explains all the mistakes you make when being too eager to find love. It halped to put the control back in my hands. I take a whole new approach with guys now, and its a lot more fun and rewarding! It was a great, quick, humerous read.

The author's advice is right on target - I couldn't believe how well (or how fast) it works! The whole idea about the Dream Girls is great- exactly what I needed to get my relationships headed in the right direction. Lisa Daily's advice really rocks - my girlfriends have been passing this book around. You gotta read it!

Review: This book is to those women and gay men who bashed this book, I believe they may be in a situation where they are doing the exact opposite of what is being taught here and just can't stand to hear the truth. Ladies if your in a position where your not following the rules of being a good girl, be open minded and think if you added a twist to your life how that would affect your relationship.
