Summary: Great organizational tool with only a few small glitches
Review: I am due with my first child in 4 1/2 months. This planner along with the books "What to Expect When you're Expecting" and "What to Expect You're First Year" have been lifesavers. I love the way that this is layed out with sections including everything from a place to record your visits to the Dr. to a journal to keep track of your thoughts. I have only found a few small problems with the book including missing items from the checklist for baby section (such as highchair and monitor) and the fact that there aren't any tabs seperating sections for easy flipping from place to place. After adding these things myself, however, this has been and invaluable tool. I recommend it for every mommy to be.

Summary: For me it was a waste of money...
Review: I don't find the sections helpful, there are many that I don't use. Since I already had an agenda/organizer, it made no sense for me to write appointments and take notes in both and to carry both around. I actually lost some information because I couldn't remember which book I used and still don't know what happened to it.

If you already have a good system like a Palm Pilot or a Franklyn Covey organizer, this will not be for you. As far as the information contained inside this organizer, it can be found in the "What to expect" books.

Summary: Pregnant with #4 and got to have this book
Review: I had this book with my second and third pregnancy. The best book to get you organized for baby, but especially has the information pages you will need for the doctor and hospital. I thought that I would try another pregnancy organizer with my fourth pregnancy, but found myself buying this special book by my 3 month of being pregnant. Not only the information will get you ready for each doctor visit, and questions you may ask doctor, but there are pages to get you ready for baby with all the supplies, thank you reminders and after the baby is born record sheets to fill out with later. I have saved this book for my children in there keepsake boxes and I am sure they will enjoy them when they are grown!

Summary: One for Each Pregnancy!
Review: I have used this pregnancy organizer for my first two children and will use it again with my upcoming 3rd. This journal to me has soo much more to it than other journals I've seen around. They have actually become a keepsake for the children later!

Summary: Invaluable
Review: I highly recommend this book. This is my first pregnancy and I feel so prepared for the baby. This book helps you organize everything essential, very concisely. Now, in my last month of pregnancy, I carry it everywhere with me. It has my birth plan, great check lists, important phone numbers, my doctors visit history, notes from prenatal classes, and so much more. Out of all of the baby books I bought, I am most pleased with this purchase.

Summary: Pretty disappointing.
Review: I love the book What to Expect When You're Expecting, but I was pretty disappointed with the organizer. The layout didn't seem to make much sense. There are several other 'organizers' out there that are laid out better, flow better, and just make more logical sense when filling out.

Summary: Wonderful prenatal info ... very poor breastfeeding info.
Review: I loved the book What to Expect When You're Expecting ... reading it cover to cover through BOTH of my pregnancies ... referring to it often ... recommending it to friends. I truly enjoyed following the month by month outline of 'what to expect'. And I found answers to many small questions that I never seemed to remember to ask when at the doctors office.

BUT!!!!! The more I've learned about breastfeeding ... and the longer that I've breastfed ... the less and less I like the "What to Expect" series information on nursing. To me it seems VERY inaccurate and even misleading at times. I find it hard to beleive that an author who is so knowledgeable about prenatal health and general nutrition can be so ill informed about breastfeeding. I would think that much of the information would be discouraging to new moms and to mothers who encounter difficulties. Rather than encouraging us to find alternatives or solutions to problems the books seem to say ... "Oh well, it may not work for you."

So while I do feel that this book and it's follow-up books are valuable prenatal and childcare resources, the amount of incorrect information they contain concerning breastfeeding prevents me from buying the book for friends who are expecting, or even from recommending the book to them. I hope that the author will consider providing more factual breastfeeding information to her readers in future editions of the book ... or at least leaving out the negative misinformation.

Summary: very pleased
Review: I purchased this book as a gift for a close friend. The book arrived to her fairly quickly. I ordered the book on the 3rd using standard delivery and she received the book on the 8th. She states that the book was in great condition.

Summary: Great pregnancy organizer, great journal to refer back to
Review: I used this organizer through my entire pregnancy, logged in questions, feelings, appointments, test results and so much more. The nice thing was that I had everything in one place. It will be a great source to refer back to when going through subsequent pregnancies to see where I was at the same time with the first pregnancy.
