Summary: Everything you wanted to know and have asked before
Review: Pretty much this book hits every subject that you can think of including some freaky stuff. It's a pretty fat book and easy to read and reference. The illustrations are very good albiet graphic as they should be. From begginer to the experienced, the author will almost definately hit on something you didn't know before and give you many viewpoints on the subject.

Summary: Fun and light
Review: Funny and enjoyable, this book was first bought as a joke for one of my college friends. The book quickly made the rounds among our entire group of friends. It has a light and fun way of addressing topics from soup to nuts (pardon the pun) without making you blush. I promptly bought six copies and distributed them to friends at home. Now well out of college, it is still a fun reference.

Summary: What a book!
Review: This book is just great and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in improving their relationship. It is witty and honest and spot-on! I've been sexually active for a while and married for 7 years and I can honestly say that I learned a whole lot from this book. I find myself having a hard time tearing myself away to get back to "real life."

I also love the drawings... they reminded me of the hey-day X-Men comics!

Like another reviewer, I'd give this book more than 5 stars if only I could.

Summary: Humorously Honest
Review: I bought Kim's book (see my other review of Ms. Catrell's book-I hope her name is spelled correctly). I also bought this one. I'm glad I did. It's to the point and tells you what "it" is all about. I don't go into detail so I can get this posted. It's funny and can give you and your special someone something to read and laugh about.

Summary: Extremely informative!
Review: This is like a sexual encyclopaedia. It is useful for the beginners and for the advanced, because it describes everything and shows many techniques and topics. I gave it four stars because I didn't like the illustrations; they looked like cartoons.

Summary: A great "Sex Book" and a "Great Sex" book
Review: Among the many lovely items I received from my Queen on Valentine's Day was this: "The Guide To Getting It On!" by Paul Joannides, published in 2000 by Goofy Foot Press. This is a huge 698-page oversized paperback book that covers just about every sex topic you can think of, with an especial emphasis on every aspect of The Deed itself. It's delightfully light-hearted and yet it's amazingly informative, discussing all sorts of topics in a frank, playful style that makes it a delight to read. Sample chapters in the book include:

Chapt. 9 - Sunsets, Orgasms, & Hand Grenades. Having an orgasm, the different types of orgasms a person can have (an orgasm in two-person sex usually doesn't feel like an orgasm from masturbation, for instance), faking orgasms, how it feels to different people.

Oral Sex - Chapt. 17 - Popsicles & Penises and Chapt. 18 - Vulvas & Honey Pots. Techniques on giving (and receiving) head, why different people don't taste the same, beard burn, using your teeth, advice for men from females (and for women from men), different positions.

Chapt. 34 - Techno Breasts and Weenie Angst - feeling inadequate about your body, and how to feel better because you're not a Playboy/girl model.

Plus: Getting naked, massages, nipples, sex fantasies, birth control (all types, including abstinence), pregnancy, sex laws, goofy sex terms, legitimate sex terms, and much much MUCH more.

Most of the book is large text, but there are many drawn illustrations (not photos), most of which are of people smiling and enjoying themselves as they illustrate whatever the current chapter is talking about. In fact, the whole book feels that way: it wants to make you smile, enjoy yourself, and have FUN with sex -- whatever sex-related topic you're trying to learn about.

After glancing through the book for the past couple of days, I'm
already convinced that this is the type of book that I'd like to leave in a semi-comspicuous place at home, and let my kids find it and look through it on their own when they get old enough to need to know about this stuff. It's witty, informative, not deceptive, and it tries to instill common sense as well: Have fun, help your partner have fun, and BE CAREFUL not to get into trouble (pregnancy, STD, break the law, etc.). Even if you've been doing it since you were old enough to know what "it" is, you'll probably still find some useful information in here.

In short, this book is well worth looking into. You may have trouble finding it at a used-book store, because it's a small-press publication; and I suspect that not many people are going to want to get rid of it after they buy it. But you might get lucky....

Summary: This is a great book
Review: My husband bought this book for our honeymoon, almost as a joke. However, I have to say that it has been one of the most helpful tools in our marriage. We go back to it again and again. I grew up in a house where my parents wanted me to have a healthy, informed view of sex, but this book still had a ton to teach me about myself and my husband. And it's not a gimick how-to book, it's an informed, educational, silly, at times raunchy, honest book about sex that will dispell myths, teach you to understand your own body, teach you to understand your partner's body, to address your personal emotional issues, and to generally have a better time making love.

Summary: If you have genitals buy this book now!
Review: This book tells it like it is. almost anything about sex is covered..it even has a section for the disabled. If you like good and clean Christian sex or if you're into kinky dirty (oh yea) sex, this book is for you or anybody you know. It is a must read!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Should be required reading...
Review: Where was this book when I was a teenager? It'll never happen of course, but this book should be required reading for every teenager. But most adults will find reading through this book worthwhile as well.

This book is very informative without being lewd or pornographic, to an extent, in my opinon that many parents shoudn't be embarassed or disturbed at the prospect of their teenage sons/daughters stumbling across this on their home bookshelves.
