Review: For make-up junkies, it is a must have. For make-up impaired, it gives the basics. I loved this book, not only for the beautiful, amazing, knock-out photos, but because you can never know too much or have too much make-up. Kevyn is truly gifted as a make-up artist and his seemingly complex "looks" are quite moron-friendly. Each look is achievable. His writing is so-o real. His beauty tips are the ones kept un-revealed by most books written by women. It's a fantastic reference book, coffe table book, color-by-number, and looking-for-a-new-look book. I highly recommend it!

Review: This book has a unique approach to makeup techniques...I found it truly valuable in savings of time and money..I loved seeing makeover done for the stars Janet Jackson, Lisa Marie Presley, Drew Barrymore, Julia Roberts, Vanessa Williams and Tina Turner...etc..This book truly lets you know about trade secrets in beauty technique...It is underated and better than Bobbi Brown's book..because Kevyn Aucoin gives more details...and is easier to understand in simple terms.

Summary: An essential book for anyone who loves makeup
Review: Kevyn is a genius and this book proves it. He is able to find the beauty in everyone and bring it out for the whole world to see. For each makeover he lists his steps and includes drawings showing how to recreate what he has done. I also enjoyed reading his autobiographical parts that he had included. Of all the makeup books I have looked at this is by far the best with wonderful pictures (some taken by Kevyn himself!)

Review: I recieved this book for christmas and have not been able to put it down since then. The instruction and photographs are amazing. Kevyn was able to work miracles with the makeovers, I could not believe the before and afters were the same people. Much better than the Cindy Crawford workbook, with much more details. Buy this book!

This book bringsto light that anyone who thought they could not wear makeup can achieve the beauty they desire.For me, I did not belive that makeup put on the right way could achieve such a new look. This book has done this for me. Showing the basics and not so basic looks that can be achieved. The glamourous, the dramatic, the classic look and many more.He shows you step by step how to apply the makeup and tips on the best staying power to make your makeup last, the best tools, and the different types of makeup that is best for you.It shows you in depth how to contour and highlight your face for all those special occasions. This book is truly amazing and I'm glad I have it. It's like my American Express, I don't leave on a trip without it.

Review: What first caught my eye about Kevyn's book was the beautiful pictures. Normally recognizeable, familiar faces were transformed into beautiful stars from the past. Kevyn is a real artist, and in addition to catching my eye with the unique photos in the book, he has me thoroughly hooked on makeup! I found the little hints in his book very informative, and the easy to follow instructions on how to duplicate the looks extremely interesting. Kevyn has produced a beautiful book that I have shared with my family and all of my friends. We all enjoyed the book very much-especially the fantasies that we were able to create with his tips!

Review: I've reviewed a number of books on the art of make-up. Without a doubt, this is the BEST! The wonderful photos allow the reader to really apply his ideas while comparing your results with the "end product." If you enjoy the art and magic of make-up don't pass this one up!
