SHE LOOKED LIKE A NEW PERSON WHEN HE WAS FINSHED WITH HER. ALOT OF HIS LOOKS ARE NATURAL AND IT HELPED ME TO DO MY MAKEUP MORE NATURAL LOOKING.HE SHOWS HOW HE DOES JANET JACKSON'S MAKEUP AND HE DID THIS ONE WOMANS MAKEUP AND SHE LOOKED JUST LIKE MADONNA.

Review: Making faces is the ultimate makeup book. It is full of wonderful photos of a variety of makeup styles from everyday makeup to glamorous looks. The book also gives the reader detailed how to instructions on how to achieve the desired looks, and also informs the reader on what kinds of makeup products work the best. It also has wonderful before and after makeover pictures. What a book!

Review: I was enthralled by the photos of celebrities and how tranformed they were by the hand of Kevyn Aucoin. He is a master and with purchasing this book I learned so much about putting on make-up to enhance my looks. My boss even noticed my new make-up and told me I looked good. I am in my mid fifties, silver hair and I still want to look good and even pretty. Kevyn has shown me so many tricks to looking good with the magic of make-up. The only problem I find is I am unable to have this man make me up. Who can afford his prices except celebrities. The average folk are the losers, but we have the book to help us. Thankyou Kevyn, you are a master and a magician.

Review: When I first heard of "Making Faces", I ran out and it bought first thing the following morning. I couldn't put it down! Kevyn, with the help of some wonderful people, does an excellent job of opening the mind to a limitless variety of makeup expressions. Every page is very easy to understand and with each makeover he gives explicit directions but leaves room for your own creativeness when trying to re-create a certain look. Kevyn also adds a personal touch to "Making Faces" with photos (i.e. family, friends, and clients) and short stories throughout the book. If you love makeup and if you need some new ideas or just enjoy looking at the work of others, then this book is, without a doubt, for you!

From the new trends to familiar faces of the past can all be found in this book. Kevyn is warm and personal and will help you achieve the look you desire.

Review: I saw Kevyn and examples of his work on Oprah Winfrey show. After the show it did not take me more than half an hour to buy the book. I am a portrait photography fan. I am sure for me this book will be a great help and motivation for further work. Absolutely fabulous, if I may.
