Summary: best training book bar none
Review: This book is an absolute must for anyone training for strentgh/bulk or function. You will learn alot, and have your eyes opened to a very simple way of training. The publisher gaurantees it. I have made incredible gains, and have a physique as hard as rock...No doubt about it, a great read, great advice. If you want a functional, well sculpted body then read this book, you will not regret it.

Summary: Power to the People - Results are what matters
Review: I've been a somewhat frustrated competitive powerlifter for almost 20 years. Since reading Pavel's work and applying his principles to my training, I have graduated from regional competition to qualifying to lift in the world championships this year. The point is that while 'Power to the People' offers strength training information that can be used by anyone, it will also greatly benefit athletes that already think they know it all. There are only a handful of manuals that everyone interested in strength must have, and this is one of them. Simple, functional, and above all highly effective - buy it or get used to second place.

Summary: Very enjoyable workout!!!
Review: At first I would have to say it was hard to spend the money for the book. The local library had it so I was lucky enough to have read it before I bought it. After reading it I knew it was worth the money. There are so many little things in the book to learn about maximizing your strength. Everything I have tried in the book has worked and helped. Use Pavel's ideas and workout cycles and you will see your strength improve. For me it was dramatically. I'm a UPS driver and my job has become easier to do because of my strength gains. My wife has noticed a difference in my appearence and now is using the priciples in Power to the People. My workouts aren't as exhausting as before and my strength gains have come alot quicker. I have read that in some reviews here people have been hurt. I can say that if you don't pay attention to the little details that Pavel clearly states in his book you can get hurt. Please pay attention read and reread what he has to say so that you will not end up hurt. Technique is everything. Buy the book if you are interested in a change from the routine you've been doing for years. You wont be sorry!!!

Summary: The most effective method of strength training I've done.
Review: Okay, I know you're busy people, and you don't have a lot of time, so I'm going to get down to brass tacks.

I've been lifting for eight years, and "Power to the People" is the most functional strength training system that I have ever tried. In four short months, I went from being able deadlift a pansy 165 for five reps to being able to dead 405 for a single. All without putting on a pound of weight, but by making my nervous system more effective. (Though, to be honest... I seem to have replaced some of my fat with muscle.)

With a minimal amount of equipment (150 dollar investment) Pavel shows you how to construct a world class body in your basement.

Want to put on slabs of rock hard muscular mass? Pavel shows you how to get both big and strong at the same time--unlike many "bodybuilding" programs that are for looks only.

Want to get strong without getting big? No problem. Pavel shows you how to do that too--in fact, that's where this program shines.

Moreover, want to learn how to immediately, quickly, and effectively increase any lift in your arsenal? While having super-strict form? Pavel shows you how.

I highly reccomend all of his books to martial artists, athletes and weight trainers of all types. But please, read the entire book carefully. When I read about people who have been injured in these reviews I think "A more careful reading of the text would have prevented that." Some of the things seem strange, but if you follow them to the letter, you will get stronger both immediately, and in the long run.

Power to the People is a desert island kind of book. Don't make the mistake of not buying it...

PS: My ex-girlfriend told me: "You're so buff now.... I hate you." My new girlfriend told me: "They should make a statue out of you."

The difference? Pavel.

Summary: The best strength training book I ever read
Review: This is the simplest, most effective approach to strength training you'll ever find. Pavel provides the how to's of extremely effective techniques that will make training simpler, safer and more effective AND get you stronger than you ever thought possible. I personally added 120 pounds to my deadlift folowing Power to the People principles - going from 300 lbs to 420 lbs in a little over six months - at a bodyweight of 160 pounds.

Pavel is the real deal - honest, down to earth. His products live up to their hype, unlike the vast majority of fitness books on the market.

This book ios worth its weight in gold. Foget all the bodybuilding nonsense and read this book, and discover it for yourself.

Review: In my not so humble opinion, Power to the People is the best information I have ever received on effective weight training. I accomplished in weeks what I couldn't do in years.

Nuts and bolts, if you are trying to get strong and establish a solid foundation from head to toe, then '3 to 5' is all the protocol you need. Apply what you read and you can not lose, period!
