Summary: Total Pick Me Up
Review: I really liked this book. It's a great gift for yourself or anyone else who has had a "Blue Day". I read parts of it while I was shopping in Target and had to but it to read the rest of it and I loved it. It really made me smile. The pictures are so funny. This is a great coffee table book. It's a must read.

Summary: This book is perfect!!
Review: I received this book as a gift from a friend. Yes, it's mostly a captioned picture book, but it's so perfect. I was in a good mood when I received it, but when I finished reading through it, I felt even better!

"Everybody has blue days." And this book will certainly help make it better!

Summary: A Gem of a book
Review: The pictures in this book are priceless. If you are an animal lover, you will like this book. It is NOT just for kids, I have shown it to several other adults who liked it as much as I did. The text accompanying the pictures is witty, funny, and inspiring. Makes a great gift.

Summary: a Sweet, yet Nutritious snack!
Review: This book is very good at what it is - a very brief visual lark which leaves you better off than you were when you started. The pictures are very fun, and they alone kind of move you into a lighter frame of mind. They sort of loosen you up. Then, for the change moment, the content is about all there is - face things. Take risks. Live each day as if it's your last - one day it will be. Then, a few more pictures, and it's over.

A Good Thing in a small package!

Summary: It makes you smile - what more can you ask for?
Review: This is not a self help book, nor is it a deep philosophical discussion about depression. I don't believe the author presents this book to be either of those things, and if that is what you are looking for then this is not for you. The clue to readers should be the fact that the book is heavy on pictures and light on writing.

That being said, the book is a wonderful look at how we feel when we are "blue", and why we sometimes feel that way. It is a simple little book that will hopefully make you smile, and know that this too shall pass. The pictures are wonderfully expressive, and match what is written perfectly. And what is written, though simple and concise, is honest. It brings a smile to my face, and to those with whom I have shared this book. What more can you ask for?

Summary: Never take life too seriously!
Review: This is a reminder that life has its ups and downs, but we must be able to laugh at ourselves. We must remember that our bad days are one moment in time, and not our whole entire lives.

Summary: A book that will make anyone smile
Review: The sample pages don't do this wonderful book justice! The photos as captions are funny (some of them hysterical) and touching. I have not run into anyone who does not laugh out loud and say "aww" at these amazing photos, each with relevant captions, about being a little blue, cheering up, and feeling good again about life! I recommend this book highly - for oneself and also as a gift!

Summary: Need cheering up? Go for this book!
Review: I received this little book as a gift and I couldn't help but smile! The author doeesn't claim to be a genius and he doesn't claim that this book will change your life. It isn't intellectual stuff, it's only purpose is to make you smile and it works!! It's just a sweet book containing pictures of animals for someone who is feeling down. What's wrong with that? I am a huge animal lover and I certainly dont think the pictures are degrading to animals! Anyone who suggests this has probably never cracked a smile in their entire life and they probably never will!!

Summary: It will bring a smile to your face even on a blue day!
Review: My best friend gave me this book. We are both going through some hard times. This immediately made me smile. I read it every time I'm blue. Not only are the words simple, yet profound, but the pictures sum it up. I'm going to be purchasing more of these and giving them to those near and dear. Its a must read for everyone!!

Summary: A Quick, Cheery Pick-up
Review: Feeling down? A little blue? Do you like silly animal pictures>

This compilation of goofy black and white photos won't be the deepest book you'll read this month, but it may be the cheeriest.

There are sluggish lions, nervous gerbils, concerned kitties, ecstatic anteaters, a bald monkey, a bear whose tongue must be two feet long, a funky seal, and a pig and a sheep amorously involved.

Throughout, author Brad Greive quips toward the positive. If the news of the day is getting you long in the face, then I fully recommend "Blue Day Book."
