Summary: A smile on every page - just what I needed!
Review: If you're bored or sad or feeling lonely or just down, this is the perfect fix. With a cute animal photo and a brief sentence on every page, this book helps you see that everyone has bad days and that tomorrow promises wonderful new things. The black and white pictures are works of art and the captions match them perfectly. This book made me smile and laugh and cry. I received it as a gift from a good friend and I want to run out and buy copies for everyone I know who has ever felt down and out! A great gift idea!

Summary: Beautiful, Uplifting, Humorous
Review: More than just another of those cute coffee-table books, Greive combines humor, sensitivity, and some very funny pictures into a masterpiece that not only holds your attention, but touches your heart and lifts your spirits.

Most acclaimed self-help books either read like a prescription or are so full of inflated rhetoric and soaring prose that they lose themselves. Not so with this book. First, Greive doesn't presume to offer the reader a solution. Instead, he dishes out humorous doses of encouragement and insight. Second, this book is not a "3-Secrets-of-Delighted-People" methodology designed to numb you as an alternative to lifting your spirits. Instead, it provides a momentary escape and distraction by putting many of life's crises in a poignant, sometimes ludicrous, light that leaves you chuckling at your own circumstances.

Easy to read and hard to put down, you'll find yourself refreshed and encouraged every time you read it through...Gardner

Summary: Which comes first, a photo or a poem?
Review: Or I would ask you which you prefer, reading a poem or looking at a photo. In this book, you'll find you can enjoy both of them very easily. You can hear sweet songs which are played in this book by both poems and photos. Actually I was so depressed when I got this book in my hands. I felt blue when I started looking into the bluish pages where I found funny looking animals with somewhat humanlike expression. Reading the sentences along these photos I felt somthing tickling inside myself. I felt like smiling. I couldn't help giggling. I felt so happy in the end. That's all I want to tell all of you who have some interest in this book. You must try it.

Summary: A bit too childish
Review: I think some of the photos in this are really cute, but most of the accompanying text was just a little too childish for me. I have found many more profound thoughts to cheer me up and help me build real happiness in "Open Your Mind, Open Your Life: A Book of Wisdom" by Taro Gold.

Summary: SMILE :-)
Review: What an adoreable, sweet, uplifting, simple little book!!! Shopping for the holidays and feeling a little bit down, it was fate that caused me to notice this book at the book store and pick it up. Well, after scanning through this gem of a book, my "blue day" was gone and I again had a spring in my step and a smile on my face!!
Oh yes, this book seems simple with short cliches placed to just the perfect pictures. That's what the beauty of this book is.
This book is a must for every coffee table. You never know when someone visiting your home needs a little lift but just doesn't want to talk to anyone about it. Life is about sharing smiles and this cute little book will definitely help you do that. :-)

Summary: this book is too cute
Review: Initially I was intent on purchasing the blue day book calender. I was really just killing sometime in the book store. But I found this little book and couldn't help but buy it. It's got the most adorable pictures, and a commentary that made me laugh and cry. If you don't feel better after reading this little book, I would seriously recommend some serious help for you. It's so perfect in its simplicity.

Summary: charming gift or self pick-me-up
Review: A true delight for anyone with even the least interest in unusual animal photograpy. Even aside from that, the captions and photos together are clever and provide a way to laugh at our own humanness.

Summary: Cute and laughable
Review: Great animal pictures. One dog looked like a girl I knew. But the poems/captions seem rather trite and contrived. Its a nice coffee table book, but somewhat cheesy. I read it at my aunt's house. Otherwise, I wouldn't buy it.

Summary: This is the cutest book and makes a great gift!
Review: I cannot say enough wonderful things about this book! I received it for my birthday and have to keep rereading it. Each time makes me smile! I am going to give copies to all the people I care about for Christmas this year. It's a great way to cheer up someone's day. I highly recommend!!

Summary: Perfect Book to make you Perky
Review: This book was great for me when I gave myself a black eye over Christmas Break one year in Florida. I could barely see out of my left eye but I could read the book. My parents bought it for me to cheer me up and it worked. I read it all the time when I feel down in the dumps. It worked great after we lost at State in volleyball. I highly recomend this book to anyone who needs to get perked up.
