Summary: Great for those without web access!
Review: Marla has taken a non-organizational approach to organization that even those that are terribly disorganized can follow. She helps explain her "system" in every day language that any one can follow - male or female - since we all have problems with clutter.

Starting in the kitchen where the heart of the home is, works wonders for nearly everyone and provides an immediate feeling of success. Once success is seen and felt, most people find it easier to move on in her "baby steps" and work their way out of their clutter.

Those that don't have daily web access will find this book useful in setting up a system of taking care of their "nest" and making it a place that they want to be and in the process probably learn a lot about themselves.

Summary: So much more!!
Review: Marla Cilley shares so much of herself in this wonderful book. It is SO much more than about cleaning the sink - that is just the beginning of a whole new way of looking at life and the things that we all have to do. Those of us that are not efficient at it learn how to get started and do in 15 minute increments. Everything that Marla discusses is what every person who runs a house has to do. The concepts apply to single dads, single moms, large families, small families and singles. It does not tell you "how" something has to be cleaned - but guides you to act proactively in getting a system going to take care of things. This is a way of life book for anyone.

Her system is designed to be flexible and adaptable for both the stay at home mom and the work out side the home person. She guides you through simple steps to make what should be daily chores into 15-minute daily routines.

After you read the book if you are having trouble adapting to her system, check out her website and subscribe. Summary: NOT A STEPFORD WIFE
Review: Best book I have ever read on getting your entire life together. Written by the most humble person on earth. If I were rich I would send this book to all my friends. Anyone who dislikes this book has a screw loose!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Stepford Wives???
Review: I really don't know what the negative reviewer meant by this comment, but I just bought this book and I am far from becoming a "Stepford Wife"- actually I am a single stay-at-home mom, who stayed in my pj's all day and basically was L-A-Z-Y! This book transformed my life! By taking "babysteps" which Marla explains in this book, I was able to change my outlook on life and make my home a place of peace and calm- all to PLEASE ME- NOT SOME HUSBAND- LIKE A STEPFORD WIFE!
I now make my bed in the morning (never bothered before..I mean who was going to see it??) I get dressed- down to my shoes and am motivated just by this little act to do other things -rather than being a couch potato, wasting my day.
This book is EMPOWERING!
Marla, you are a a wonderful, postive influence on so many people!

Summary: Sink Reflections gave me hope!
Review: This book is REAL. It is for real people who want to have a clean, organized home. It is encouraging, attainable and empowering. Marla makes you feel like she's there chatting and encouraging you. Yes, there are traditional roles implied and some religious conatations. Yes, the author is not afraid to stand behind her beliefs. There seems to be a trend to return to a more traditional family life. Families with both partners working, are longing for more family time, more nurturing, and a simplified home life, Marla will help you achieve this. The role of being the nuturer of the home and family is a role I personally treasure.

Summary: Boogied the chaos right outta my hair!!!
Review: Ignore the negative nellie, SHE doesn't get it, I'm sorry for her. I am a 6-month old flybaby and this book and email system have completely changed my outlook on the STUFF in mine and my family's lives. If you are stuck and feel hopeless with your home, finances, body clutter, lack of sleep, time for yourself and your kids are acting up because there is no rhyme or reason to your life-----you need to be flywashed! This is the easiest, most releasing system I have ever experienced. I have even moved to another state during this 6 months and flung even more when I reached my destination. I am learning to live with less of everything and have more time for what's really important. I have told everyone I know and even some I don't. Thank you flylady.net, I love you Flylady Marla, Kelly, Cindy, Leanne, and the rest of the crew, God Bless all of you! flybabydoodah

Summary: Great Resource
Review: There has been quite a bit of talk lately about how the outside appearance of ourselves. our homes, etc.is a mirrior of the inside: how we feel about ourselves. What Flylady does with this book is teach us how to overcome the outside junk, so that we are freer to work on the inside junk! I grew up in a highly chaotic enviornment, and the info in this book as well as the website is helping me overcome that undisciplined upbringing, ensuring that MY kids will grow up to be productive human beings! It may not be for everyone, but I love the home-spun tone. Marla feels like a cozy grandma to me!

Summary: I love Flylady!!
Review: I've been a mamber of Flylady.net for over a year and it's the best thing I've done for myself! I have her book and some of her other tools too. She has helped me tremendously! Recently our son called and asked if he and his wife could bring some friends for lunch the next day! Pre-Flylady that would have thrown me into a tizzy of frantic cleaning and cooking. Not this time! All I had to do was clear up a few "hot spots", pick up some cold cuts at the store, "bless my Home" by quickly running the vacuum cleaner and use my Flylady duster and I was ready! We had a wonderful, relaxing time visiting and getting to know new friends! Thanks Marla, you are the greatest!!

Summary: Saving my bottom
Review: When I fisrt looked at this book I didn't think I could read it much less do it, because it was a little too cute for me. Boy I was wrong! This book and the website are wonderful. I have found that what you can do is all depending on your attitude. So much can be done in 15 min. Nothing is done well, when you're whining. Anyone who suffers from a chronically messy house to downright squallor can be helped by this book. Marla not only helps thousands in need of help but she does it for free on her website. I don't see how anyone can offer more than that.
