Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I am a believer! Review: As hard as it is to believe, Sink Reflections is probably the single most important book I've ever read! I feel like someone has handed me the key to finally learning how to have the house I want to raise my family in. It's not just about cleaning (though it's VERY helpful there, of course) but provides guidelines to live the life I've always wanted to, in a picked up house, not haunted with laundry to do, and supper on the stove. For all those who want a nice homelife but just can't figure out how to do it all, this is book for you! My husband's unsolicited and encouraging comments keep me going and I vow that I will continue these routines the rest of my life because I actually can and, get this, even like it! Wonderful, wonderful book. A MUST READ for anyone you know searching to improve their home life.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Baby Steps All The Way!! Review: This is great book for people who are clueless about cleaning or would rather pay someone else to do it. I am kindof both, but after someone that I paid to clean my house decided to do my laundry and ruined one of my husband's suit jackets, I decided I needed to be the one cleaning. At least that way I would feel less guilty if I ruined something in the wash. Marla wrote an excellent book on how to go from clueless to clean in just a month. But this book goes beyond cleaning. It also helps you learn to declutter and focus on what is important in your life. And I have learned that there are truely other women out there who suffer from CHAOS(Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome). I have been thinking for five years I was the only one in the world with this problem. Thank you for releasing me from all that guilt. I am a happier, cleaner, more organized mother. Plus check out her great website at flylady.net while you wait for the book to get to you. It is great!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Impacting. For men, too. Review: As a professional guy, I was a little shy about purchasing this book, as the tone seems somewhat directed toward women homemakers; but this book speaks to everyone who values the domestic arts and who seeks to create an organized yet sensual home. I would especially recommend this book to anyone who spends a lot of time working from their home office. I often mention helpful books to friends, but for some reason with this book they actually run out and buy it, which tells me that its theme really resonates with the times. The whole double-income family has secured more independence and equality, but it has also eroded the domestic arts, without which there is little quality of life. Homemaking is a noble craft, whether performed by women or men, and this book inspires one to treat it as a sacred undertaking through daily rituals of homeblessing. I can't imagine anyone not getting SOMETHING from this book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Made a sink shiner out of me Review: You too can do anything in 15 minutes and it all starts with a shiny sink. I didn't believe it until I read the book, did what Martha said, and it works. This book changed my life. It can change yours too. 15 minutes and remember that housework done incorrectly still blesses your family.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Try it, it works... Review: Although her website (www.flylady.net) contains pretty much all the same information as this book, I found the book to be more intuitively laid out, and much simpler to navigate than the sometimes-cluttered website. But no matter which you decide to use, the system works wonders. I can't believe the difference that it's made to my home and my life. I don't have to worry about company dropping in unexpectedly and I haven't run out of clean clothes in months. Try it, it really works...
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: This is good but..... Review: .... it is the same as the web-site. All of the info can be looked up for free. Most of the instructions I was already doing, I already keep my home clean and organized so I guess this book is specifically for the un-organized. However, I did get some tips from flylady that have had a positive effect: Lay out the clothes the night before, and dress to your toes as soon as you get up. Before I found flylady I didn't take a shower until noon, lol. I guess this is a mixed review (o:
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Finally: A Foil For Perfectionism, Once and for All!! Review: BRAVO, Flylady, and thank you from the bottom of my heart! Whether you read her affirming, encouraging words online or in her book, you will definitely be receiving the boundless wisdom of a woman who knows what she's talking about. So many of us don't realize that we are paralyzed not by an inability to get things done, but by perfectionism. Flylady's system takes the reader firmly but gently through the tiny baby steps that it takes to get daily routines established -- "hot spots" uncluttered -- and, eventually, an entire home in order. Don't fear -- this is not a method that will require you to exhaust yourself through huge, endless cleaning projects. No, indeed! It's all about doing things in small steps. And it absolutely works! If you haven't slept in your own bed for weeks because of the unfolded laundry sleeping there; if you hide when the doorbell rings because you haven't washed your hair in two days; if you can't see the bottom of your sink for all the crusty dishes inside it: THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU! I heartily recommend it.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: FLY with FLYLADY. I do. ;o) Review: I love this book. Check out Flylady.net first to see what you think of the system. I wasn't sure what to think at first, but her system has changed my life and the lives of countless others. The website gives tons of free information and it's actually useful and entertaining information. I bought the book mostly as a guide to keep me from getting sidetracked and to pick up anything not on the website. Marla Cilley has a great way of empowering you to be your best while not expecting you to be perfect. Thank you, Marla. God Bless you.
