Rating: Summary: Something for everyone Review: A complete guide to cunnilingus that has something for everyone. The author speaks in a very down to earth manner and includes things for all aspects of cunnilingus from those who are shy about doing it to those who are looking to experiment. I give the book a B on the StuPage.
Rating: Summary: This book is excellent Review: As a straight male, I found this book highly informative, helpful and my wife has a smile on her face! Finally a book written by a woman about women telling you stuff that most women fail to tell you.
Rating: Summary: It's not just for foreplay anymore! Review: Given that religious fundamentalists would no doubt still condemn this particular form of sexual expression as a violation of "natural law" is to my way of thinking as good a reason as any to avail yourself of the information contained herein. And while full of useful ideas and suggestions, what I truly appreciate most about this book is the author's unapologetic portrayal of oral sex upon the vulva as the uniquely satisfying act that many women know it to be. As a male still "recovering" from inexplicable socialization to the contrary, I welcome this book as another much needed contribution of fresh and honest perspective to the public discourse on female pleasure. Pay no attention to the reviewers who insist this book is primarily for lesbians. This book is for all lovers of women; but most especially it is for us men, who have too long labored under the culturally reinforced misguidance that penetrative intercourse should constitute both the central act of sexual intimacy and the gold standard of female pleasure. As we finally come to acknowledge the fact that this simply ain't so (for many women), we have the opportunity to bring to our intimate relations a more accurate understanding of our partner's experience and so too a much better starting point from which to strive toward a truly satisfying and equitable model of sexuality for our partners and ourselves. No doubt there are those women who will still crave a bit of the old in-out, but why not let them state that preference (when it occurs) over making the base assumption that when it comes to sex all women everywhere want but one thing (and a big one at that). Once we begin our sexual journey starting with truth over patriarchical wishful thinking we can hope to leave behind our cultural legacy of sexual dissatisfaction and dysfunction. When sexuality is simply about the physical pleasure two people can share and nothing else, no political ramifications, no identity issues, no shame, no remorse, then books like this will lose their usefulness. Until that time though, we need more authors like Ms Blue to help us know and accept ourselves and our partners for who we truly are as human beings. So men, why not commit to hone your skills in this most intimate of indulgences. Who knows, with an open mind and some practice you may find within you a desire to perform this act of love every bit as urgent as your partner's yearning to receive. And as always I would encourage those with partners needing a bit more stimulation to reach lift-off, to experiment with combining oral pleasuring with vibrator play (see Betty Dodson's books and videos). There is a very comfortable position for this (barely mentioned in this book) with the woman on her back, legs drawn up a bit, and her partner (you) side lying, head down, approaching her vulva in a sideways fashion from beneath her thigh. This leaves plenty of space for her to apply a vibrator from above while your mouth has simultaneous unrestrained access to the full length of her genital cleft. Alternatively you might treat your partner to a bit of oral loving while she is still enjoying the after-shocks of a prior (vibrator induced) orgasm. Just remember to be extra gentle boys (at least until you get past that initial shriek) as she may be a bit hyper-sensitive at that time. Now I wish you all bon appetit ;-9
Rating: Summary: Fantastic information to help you make her SCREAM & MOAN Review: I absolutely love to make my woman happy and working my mouth to her p___y and working it til she screams long and loud. This is a book which will aid greatly in your desire to do the same. It's filled with useful techniques. Of course the most important thing is making her feel sexy and comfortable. As far as my methods? Slurp her gorgeous mound tenderly to begin with. It's true: women love slow tongue work at first. My woman likes it that way for a LONG time. If you follow her body movement attentively, you'll know when to adjust your speed and rev her up for an explosive orgasm or four. Do your woman right and pick this book up. Chances are she'll want to REWARD you right back!
Rating: Summary: a good buy Review: I bought this book for my boyfriend and it's the best thing I ever did. We read it together and we're still trying new things! I can't recommend it high enough. Thank you Violet Blue!

Rating: Summary: simply the best Review: I checked out this book because it has been nominated for an award in London, and was quite surprised at the depth and detail covered here. Most books that claim to explain stimulating women sexually seem to handle the material with kid gloves, almost with distaste. But the author clearly has a passion for explaining exactly how the female sexual response system works, and what types of stimulation produce pleasurable results. This is the first time I have seen cunnilingus clearly and honestly explained, and it is without a doubt the most complete book on the topic. In addition, because the author is a young sex educator working in the field -- at the established sexual pleasure pioneer Good Vibrations nonetheless -- the information goes beyond standard cunnilingus, providing how-to's on every possible variation one can imagine. Using manual stimulation (hands), adding sex toys, incorporating anal play, cunnilingus and S/M, sexual fantasy and cunnilingus, female genital massage, sexual pressure points to heighten pleasure, and the list goes on. There is a mine of information here, as well as etiquette for givers and receivers. The tone is warm and engaging, and doesn't make the mistake many sexual pleasure guidebooks make by coming off too seriously, or using "New Age" terms -- no "goddesses" or "yonis" here. This book rises far above the rest, and I've read them all. Most come off as soundbites, whereas this is a complete book and an exhaustive resource. It deserves to win that award.
Rating: Summary: Oh my... Review: I ordered this by mistake, but it was good!!! Even for an old lady to read just for laughs...
Rating: Summary: too lesbo oriented,a turnoff for hetero readers Review: I wouldnt recommend this book for a man looking to do cunnilingus on a woman. This is clearly a lesbo book and would not be useful for a man wanting to please a heterosexual woman.Better to get a cunnilingus book written by a man or a hetero woman.
Rating: Summary: tasty treat Review: I've always considered myself to be a cunnilingus expert, but this book taught me a few new tricks. 3 cheers for Ms. Blue!
