I have read it almost daily for two + years and miss it when I have to rush (the times I need it the most). Sarah's philosophy of life, combined with thoughts and ideas of numerous great thinkers, is positive, full of spirit, and growth oriented. Each time I read an entry I feel more alive and connected to the universe. As a therapist, I often give conference presentations and always recommend Simple Abundance.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: a boost for any simple woman's ego. Review: when i began reading this book i was going through a phase of feeling down in the dumps because me being a working woman had chosen to give up my carreer so that i would be there for my children when they get back from school.i wanted to listen to them and wanted to know everything that was going on in their minds.but this decision did not always seem the right one,i always felt that working outside was more glamorous, but after reading this book,i feel different,i feel great i feel that nothing that i'm doing is wrong, very rarely does a book find its way into your world that can charge you up so much from within.it feels like a bible to a woman lost from her own world.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Good for what ails you! Review: I am currently on my 3rd year of reading this wonderful book and also on my 3rd gratitude journal. I have given at least ten sets of the book and journal to friends and family. Sometimes the day's meditation is exactly what I need to hear - other times I leaf through it until I find the balm for my spirit. Everytime I read it I seem to find something new, something I apparently didn't to "hear" until now, and so I highlight it. The book is practically highlighted half-way through! I also have the author's newest book "Something More" which is good for a change; but I still find what I need for "what ails me" in "Simple Abundance" without fail.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It Changed My Life - Literally Review: The passages for the month of August set into motion a lifelong desire to create music. I first read the words in August of 1996, and started piano lessons in September. In a span of less than three years I've gone from 'Chopsticks' to Mozart Piano Sonatas and have discovered the joy of creating music with my own two hands. I can honestly say that none of this would have happened without the impetus of Sarah Ban Breathnach's question, 'If Not Now, Then When?'
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Best self-help book I have ever read Review: I have read many books that focus on women and what they need to improve their lives, but this is by far the best. One of the reasons why it is my favorite is because it teaches you about yourself rather than focusing on what others tell you you should do. It is a wonderful book. I have enjoyed reading a section each night before I sleep.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A wonderful springboard of thought Review: I enjoy reading this book. It reminds me not to just go through this world on autopilot, but to focus in on what's important. I'm not going to do all of the things mentioned in it. I don't have a discovery journal or a treasure map, or a toy box, or even a comfort drawer. But the short readings are a nice reminder not to let to world steer me away from what is important. And I had a different experience from the reader who felt it steered away from Christianity. For me, it reminded me to evaluate and appreciate those things that are important to me -- including my spiritual beliefs. You don't need to buy into every once of her exercises to appreciate this book as a springboard for thinking.
