Summary: It has changed my way of thinking.
Review: I finally found the book at my local library about a month ago. And in one month my life has changed. I still have my good and bad days but, the good ones are starting to out number the bad. I have only reached February 14th, but I have learned so much. I have started to reach my inner strengths and have started to understand who I am. Some days it is hard to find things that I am truly grateful for and somedays it is easy. But, what I have found is that I am trying to help other people find what they don't realize they are grateful for. We are all tired, stressed, overworked, underpaid, unappreciated, but, we all have a million and one things in our lives that we should be grateful for. Just remember that there are always people that are much worse off then we are. Most of all I am grateful for hearing about this wonderful book on the Oprah show. It has changed my way of thinking, the way I see things, the way hear things, the way I smell things, the way I taste things, and most of all the way I judge everything around me.

Summary: The eyes of my eyes are now wide open.
Review: Thank you for this very refreshing view on life. This book is a must for every woman. I think that this book puts a lot of things in perspective and teaches us to be truly thankful for all the important things in our lives. If we all started thinking and living in this manner, the world would truly a better one and all barriers would begin to fall. I now celebrate life each day and you can too. Thank you Sarah. Joyfully, Donna

Summary: This book is a gift!
Review: Well, on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it an 11! No matter on what level it's read, there are treasures waiting to be found, e.g. the end of each month's separate pages. I began highlighting special things, but fear the book is turning yellow..

Summary: Simply "About the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me" 42
Review: Scenario: 16 year marriage to an alcoholic finally ends in divorce. Son enters his teenage years and finds a girlfriend for the first time. A 42 year old woman finally decides to live her own life and stop "checking" every thought through her mother. A "born teacher" finds out that her 22 years in a small rural school didn't actually lead her to "eternal gratitude and fame." Remarkably a kindred spirit, soul mate, and love appears via the internet--- (but he is 2400 miles away and only 25!) ---- Added into the mix is the inate desire to be myself to the core... This book has given me the magic word that Anne Sullivan Macy gave to Helen Keller... "YES!" I finally have permission to be myself... to simply live abundantly and happily within my own spirit... Can't believe the difference .... Can't imagine my life without this book! Thanks seems so inadequate...

Summary: A way of reminding myself of what's really important
Review: I have been reading this book since the beginning of the year, and it's wonderful! I have found it particularly good for helping me stay focused on the things that are really important, instead of getting caught up in the stress of everyday life. I gave a copy to my mother on Mother's Day (2 days ago), and already yesterday she called me to say how wonderful the book is. She had recently retired, and said that it is just what she needed at this stage of her life. I think it's a must-read for anyone at any time of their life

Summary: Everyday it gives me hope and understanding
Review: Its words of wisdom have brought me up from the deepest abyss. It seems that every page is circled around the moment. Even if I forget a few days and come back Iam amazed at how healthier I would of been if I only would have read the daily passages. This is truly a womens book however I have read many pages to my husband. I would love to meet this women who put together the best of herself and others in such a inpiring piece of work.Thank You

Summary: A gentle, loving daily guide to stay grounded and focused.
Review: In the frenetic pace of our lives in this racing, often ratty and demanding world, this book presents a sea of calm, positive encouragement to remember who you are (again) and what you really want out of life. Reading a daily message this way introduces discipline and acts as a constant reminder. The author does not preach but travels beside us in our journey to find ourselves. A brilliant, loving and much needed input for most of us

Summary: Life changing possibilities are brought up from one's soul !
Review: Positive affirmation of one's self is tantamount to walking with one's Creator. This book, one page and day at a time, moves the reader from wherever they happen to be, to a better realization of self. Before we can help others, we must be able to love ourselves and Sarah Ban Breathnach helps you through those steps better than any self-help book I have read (there have been many). If anyone is attempting to be in touch with their "authentic self", this is a must read!
