Summary: Informative and Helpful
Review: Want to find those "knots" in your muscles and what to do to get rid of them? This book is very informative when it comes to this concept of "trigger points" and how to find specific points in the muscles that cause surface and referred pain. It also helps to explain what causes trigger points and what to do about them. It gives detailed explaination on the use of trigger point therapy and how to apply the techniques. Nothing will replace stretching and strengthening to rid yourself of chronic muscle conditions, but this will help you to understand what trigger points are and how to deal with them. Self treatment is also explained. I have recommended this text to many friends who have such pain and related problems and all of them had stated that this book has helped them relieve some of their pain.

Summary: This will change everything!
Review: Well, maybe not EVERYTHING, but I must say that it helped me get rid of an assortment of aches and pains within a matter of days. Coming to weight training and martial arts in my early thirties, and not having been athletic when I was in my teens and twenties, I quickly found myself the owner of a variety of fairly painful muscle pulls, rotator cuff problems, and severe pain in my hips. I also had had a nagging, bothersome pain between my shoulder blades for many years, and tried cranio-sacral therapy, accupuncture, and regular massage therapy, with less than great results. This book has taught me how to erase pain that I've lived with for 10-15 years. Fantastic book.

Summary: A hint
Review: When you get your copy of this book, take it to Kinkos or your local equivalent, and have them cut the spine off, and spiral-bind it so that it will lay flat and stay together. It will cost you less than $5.

Also, make about ten copies of the title page to hand out to others, so you give them purchasing info and do not feel obliged to lend it.

This book is spreading like a chain letter, and deserves to. It is likely to be judged in the future the greatest contribution to public health of the decade. Knock-offs are beginning to appear; I do not find it credible that its imitators could improve on it one iota.
