Rating: Summary: Averything about the way of thinking Review: Changes your way of thinking for 300%
Rating: Summary: It'll be hard to top this one! Review: This book has a greater grasp on reality than anything I've ever read! David has an excellent way of opening your eyes to whats really out there.
Rating: Summary: Great Book -- Good Tape Review: Having read the book many times and resently purchasing the book on tape I preferred the book. The tape is only a small part of the book. I will grant that it covers two of the best parts, but a tape covering the whole book would have been better.
Rating: Summary: Probably one of the best books I have ever owned! Review: Not only do I have a copy of this book, but I have two, and keep one in my office. This book is so full of inspiritation, it helped me with the courage to start my own business. I highly recommend "The Magic of Thinking Big" to anyone! David J. Schwartz has also done a magnificent job in making it a real easy read!
Rating: Summary: Practical Magic for Success Review: Just the first 2 chapters of this book are worth it's tiny price several thousand times over. If you don't know what "The Failure Disease" is, read chapter 2. If you know what to do, but are just too scared to do it, read chapter 3. If you want a whole new formula for success, read the whole enchilada.
Rating: Summary: It's simply unbelievable. Review: Thanks to David J. Schwartz, his book totaly changed my life and I have never found any other book that gave me such an impact and influence. This is an absolute must for any professional, salesman, students and manager. It helps you reorient where you are in life and refocus your personal goals and dreams.
Rating: Summary: it could change your life the way it changed mine Review: the tape is pretty good but the book is even better! Dr. Swartz was on the ball when he wrote this one. Reprinted many times now, it stands as a classic book in the sense that it makes you want to get off you tushy and get to work on your life. It is an easy and enjoyable read for anyone, whether they want to make a change or not, they will be effected by this book
Rating: Summary: I'll jump on that 5-star bandwagon! Review: I could repeat everyone else's comments, or I could just give a quick overview of why I think you should read this book. This book is a must-read for any person serious about improving themselves as a manager, a husband or wife, a friend, or a person in general. There are a lot of mediocre self-help books out there, and its refreshing to go back and re-read The Magic of Thinking Big, which is one of the few that sets the standard. I would classify this at the same level as Think and Grow Rich and How to win Friends and Influence People. This is one of those rare books thats actually flawless, and thats why it gets 5 stars.
Rating: Summary: Eliminate those success blind spots Review: Chapter 3 changed my life - got to start with this book while you are planning to climb the ladder of success in life. The best priviledge I have is lending out this book to people (as I have done it so many times) and see their lives starting to change for good! Catch the word in the title 'THINKING' and you have mastered the best success principle in life.
Rating: Summary: This book is the standard. Review: This book started it all. Without a doubt one of the best book ever written. I just love it. This book is about realizing your potential as an individual, and it makes a wonderful companion to other books on the market. One such book is, "How to find your dream job and make it a reality: solutions for a rewarding and meaningful career" by Jason McClure. Of course, this book about realizing your career potential, which is very important. In his book Jason takes the complexity out of the job/career search, and makes it easy and doable, which is why I highly recommend Jason's book. If you buy any book as a complement to the "Magic of thinking big" I would recommend Jason's book. Both books are classics, and both books offer proven solutions.
