Summary: Eat great AND lose weight
Review: I was thrilled to discover that Suzanne promotes a terrific and healthy weight loss program. With a goal of 10lbs (I know it's not much but it's the last 10 that are the hardest to lose!), she accurately brought to my attention everything that I was doing wrong. It makes sense that sugar is the culprit in gaining weight, not fat. And once you master the food combining, it's quite simple. I've been on it for 3 months and lost 7lbs. My boyfriend has been on it for 2 months and lost 20. Breakfast is the most difficult meal for me to plan so I still eat muffins (1 of course!) and coffee cake without hindering my weight loss schedule. She has some great recipes that I experiment with on weekends. I love pasta and now really enjoy it with just oil, fresh garlic, and parmesan cheese. Also, if you are like me and love quantity, as long as you're combining the right foods, you can eat plenty. I've recommended the book to many people and they, too, have had great success. Whether you need to lose a little weight or a lot or if you're unable to exercise as much as you'd like and want a lifelong, healthy eating plan, I highly recommend both of Suzanne's books.

Summary: eat great, lose weight
Review: I started this diet about 2 months ago. I took off 6 lbs.the first 2 weeks, I havent lost a pound since. I dont know what I am doing wrong, I haven't cheated, I follow every thing thru,I exercise,but I still haven't lost anymore weight. I would just like to lose another 5 lbs. I am getting very frustrated and am thinking of going on the weight watchers diet. If there is anyone out there that thinks that they can give me some pointers I would appreciate an email. Summary: HELP!
Review: I am a 14 year old girl and I weight 184 pounds. I'm on this diet for a week now and to be quite honest, it is killing me. I'm so restricted from many kinds of food. Since I've started I have felt alot more tired and weak. Furthermore, I have realised that I eat alot less because of the fact that I am restricted. I do want to lose wait but I just can't with this diet. If u have any ideas of a good diet please tell me! Hope to hear form you soon!

Summary: Wish it would work for me
Review: I love the book, and Suzanne is great. I have seen others lose weight with it, but, NoT ME! Personally, I think the book should center more on what other varieties of foods can be eaten by "regular" people - not all this fancy stuff. I don't cook that way. Also, I think it should focus on people's questions more, rather than just the basics. There are those of us out there that need more questions answered when we run into problems like I'm having. What if you this...and how come that... should be included and also.... substitutions for this and alternates for that. These are valid questions when you're on a diet. And what about weight loss expectancy, including what if you GAIN?... Anyone having this problem but ME? Keep up the good work Suzanne, but we need a 3rd book with more details. I'll be waiting to read it. Thanks.

Summary: Eat "Less", Lose Weight
Review: I was so excited to start this new way of eating and possible weight loss but only two days into it I felt light headed and weak. I can't imagine eating this way for life and actually enjoying it. After cutting out all the funky foods, you're left with eating sensibly(which most people already know that's how to lose weight), but it doesn't stop there! You have to disect the healthy stuff into meal combining and time schedules that left me feeling deprived. I felt too restricted and ended up eating too little. I must admit though, it did lead me to eating a little better and cutting out the junk. I've lost some weight but not from the food combining, just making better food choices! I give it two stars for inspiration to eat better. Good luck to those that make it work.

Summary: Getting slim and healthy
Review: "Eat Great and Lose Weight" has saved and changed my husband's life. He is a diabetic and was heavy. Following this Way of Eating, his blood sugar is now normal and he has lost 40 lbs since October of 1999 Both books contain a world of knowledge as to why we should eat the right combinations of food. Good recipes, suggestions and tips on food are clearly written

Summary: Wonderful
Review: Thank you to Suzanne Somers for the wonderful recipes in her book. The recipe for the Sugar Free Cheese Cake was GREAT! I have been hypolycemic for 10 years and I love cheese Cake but could never have it. It takes wonderful! (I enjoyed every bite) I also bought some sugar free chocolate and melted it and put it on top of the cake! Thank you Suzanne!

Summary: Fianally, something that really works for me!
Review: I never thought that I could give up sugar and starch being an Irish girl. Let me tell you, you can do it! I have never felt better in my entire life. Suzanne has really found the way to being healthy and in shape without drugs, or feeling hungry. This is now a way of life for me. I have lost 13 pounds in only a month, and I have 27 more to go! I have not worn shorts in 3 years. For the first time in my life, I cannot wait for summer! Thank you Suzanne for changing my life!

Summary: suzanne somer's get skinny on fabulous food
Review: I am on the Suzanne Somer's diet and i love it. I feel great and never get hungry. So far I have lost 4lbs., in two days. Some may be water weight, but i don't care, i love to see the pounds come off. I feel its going to work for me. I have 50 more lb's. to lose. Summary: I'm off to a great start
Review: I bought both of Suzannes diet books and started following the diet after reading all the way through both books. Well I can happily report I have lost 10 pounds in almost 3 weeks (less 2 days) and I feel really good. I have not once felt deprived and probably most important of all I have found it so easy to follow.
