Summary: Lost 32lbs. and still losing
Review: I started Somersizing last September and lost weight immediatly. I started experimenting with other ways of eating, low fat, low carbs, counting calories, and different ways of weight training. I've done it all. Starches and Sugar are the enemy. I would plateau so often that I was very frustated. I'm happy to say I started back on Somersizing and I'm appreciating the lack of gas and bloating. Suzannes appearance on the Home Shopping Network Mothers day weekend was a great inspiration to get back on the plan.

I exercise 5 days a week with a very well rounded workout. I recommend both.

My husband and daughter love Somersizing as long as I throw them a potato and bread once in a while. It works for everyone.

32lbs and still determined to lose.....

Summary: It's the best
Review: I just started Somersizing last week. At age 56, I wansn't able to shed pounds with the cottage cheese diet I'd always used. I'd seen Suzanne several times on Home Shopping, but hesitated to order it, but decided I had to do something. It is wonderful. I've only lost about five pounds so far, but I'm never hungry, the food is good, and it's something I can live with. I never realized how much natural sugar was in fruit until I started Somersizing. I would recommend it to anyone who is having trouble when first starting to lose weight. I kept myweight at 135 all my life until the last year or so, and need to lose about 20 pounds. I even tried to talk to her last weekend to thank her, but couldn't get through. I can't tell you how much better I feel already.

Summary: Not a diet, a way of life!
Review: I have been Sommersizing since January and can I tell you that this is the best 'change of eating habits' I have ever lasted through. It will work for any one. Once you get through the reprogramming of your eating style, you will become so relaxed with your new eating habits. I have added walking to my routine and the weight has dropped. Since I do not own a scale, I am not sure of my weight loss total. I can tell you that I have gone from a tight 14, sometimes even 16 to a loose 10! That's 3 sizes dropped, with little effort! I do cheat, on the weekends. I give myself a break on those days, and you know? I have never gone overboard. Go for it! You nothing but weight to loose?

Summary: This book is loved in Puerto Rico, too....
Review: I live in Puerto Rico on a small Coast Guard base, where everyone knows everyone else's business. A girlfriend of mine bought Suzanne Summers' book and raved about it. Soon eight of us had the book and everyone is loving it. Of course there are outsiders who are critical, because they think it's another diet (they obviously haven't read the book). One girlfriend of mine is 5'7" and went from 128, to 114 lbs. She looks fabulous (I never thought she had the weight to lose). Another girlfriend was Summersizing to lose "baby weight" and lost fifteen pounds herself. I personally have been summersizing for two months and have lost 8 pounds. I must admit, I cheated here & there the first month, therefore the weight wasn't coming off like I thought it would. Now, I am seeing the pounds shed and am definitely sticking to it!!! My husband loves the meals. He say's these are some of the best meals I've made. My husband (unbeknownst to himself) has been summersizing as long as I have and has lost 5-7 pounds. I recommend this book to everyone!! You can summersize on vacation, or even when having dinner with friends, and they wouldn't even know it!! Thank You Suzanne!!! This is the first time I've seen 129 pounds in ages, and I know the pounds are still shedding.

Summary: still loving this diet and losing
Review: I reviewed this book about 6 weeks ago when I first started. I was encouraged by many readers who were happy and satisfied. At first I only saw the inches fall off and when I weighed myself I was disappointed in the numbers. I did not stop trying because it was so easy and I was not craving anything bad. Well now the inches are still melting off and I was brave enough to step in the scale. Lo and behold I lost 20 lbs. just like that. My colesterol is 40 points less which is amazing to me and I have more energy than I have had in years. Suzanne, thanks once again for this super book. I wish you had a personal web sight so that others and myself could chat on everyday problems. With more holidays upon us I am afraid to eat off the program. Would it set me back if I cheated or after 6 weeks should I be able to eat something different? Maybe someone can answer this for me. I am thrilled to pieces and do not want to spoil my success.

Summary: GREAT WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT, and easy too!
Review: I was very skeptical when my sister explained the diet plan used in the book, but after Christmas my weight was at an all time high 201! (I am 5'10" male). So I borrowed her book and started following the plan. I am now 176 lbs (LOST 25 lbs in 3 months!) and having a great time on this plan. The plan works and you still can eat and not starve yourself and still lose weight. I just had bacon, sausage and eggs for breakfast (but no toast or OJ). You eat what you want you just got to choose the right combinations. Easiest diet I've ever been on and I've been on a few.

Summary: Best new way of eating so far!
Review: I bought this book last year about March 1 1997. I love the recipes and advice that Suzanne has to offer. I lost 35lbs in 31/2 months and kept it off for 10 more months. Sugar is what made me give it up and I put it all back on. Now Iam ready to do it again because it is still the best and only way I know that I can succeed in the weight lost proceedure. I wish that Suzanne would open a site to chat and share new recipies. Thanks Suzanne!!

Summary: I've lost NINE lbs these first NINE days -- amazing!
Review: The plan is totally do-able!! SPREAD THE WORD!! If you'd told me 2 weeks ago that I could give up sugar and white bread stuff and potatoes AND STILL BE HAPPY, I would've never believed it. Haven't had a single hunger pang -- wow! Am no longer consumed by thoughts of my next meal or snack. Haven't felt deprived, and I eat out a lot. I've never been so psyched and felt so empowered -- thanks, Suzanne! (can't wait to start exercising now and really boost things -- wow, who said that?!)

Summary: it really works!
Review: i started 8 wks ago and have lost 15 lbs. i was so addicted to food (especially sugar) i couldn't pass up anything. i am now passing up cookies, cakes etc and am eating healthy, whole foods. i can go to a restaurant and not feel deprived. it has really helped me get control of my eating. i'm a frequent customer in the health food store. i'm also exercising almost every day. if anyone would like to share recipies they have come up with, please feel free.
