Summary: Thank You Suzanne !!
Review: When I reached 43 it seemed overnight I gained +20 lbs. Over the past yrs. I've tried everything; dieting; exercise but nothing worked. My biggest problem area is my stomach & waist. I look 4-5 mths. pregnant to the point I never tuck any tops in as I'm too self conscience of my stomach and I always wear a t-shirt over my bathing suit. It will be a month tomorrow that I've been "somersizing" and I feel like a new person. My stomach and waist are melting away - I find it so amazing at how I look today compared to only one month ago. I actually tucked a t-shirt in my shorts on the weekend!! The meals are delicious; I have no problems following this way of eating from now on. I also just weighed myself and have lost 10 lbs. Thank you Suzanne I can't wait until I receive your "Get Skinny on Fabulous Food" to try more outstanding receipes !!!

Summary: Somersizing.....
Review: I have found that this book and this diet are easy to follow. I wouldn't even call it a diet because I am a cheese eater and I have been adding cheese to all of my protein/fat meals. I am on this program for 1 week and I haven't gotten weighed yet and I dont plan to until about 1 month on the program. I feel good from being on this program. I am eating much more fruit and veggies. The first 3 days were the hardest for me because I am a coffee and sugar user but once I passed those beginning days, I must say that I don't crave sugar or even the regular coffee. I am enjoying decaf coffee with no sugar. I do miss somethings but I can have them when I get to level 2. I don't follow the recipies in her book because I just don't have those things easily ready but I have made some wonderful chicken creations with Turkey bacon, spinach and mozzarella chese.

Summary: One week down - no end in sight!
Review: I saw Suzanne on Larry King a few weeks ago, and thought, hey, it is worth a shot - and honestly, I am fairly undisciplined in my eating - I like food and I don't like to sacrifice! however, I have been trying to drop about 15-20lbs for quite a while, with little success - Weight Watchers was far too restrictive, and drove me to obsessing over food, which I don't want to do. I have been using Suzanne's tips for 1 week, and have lost 5 lbs! and I have been eating well, eating healthy, and tons of vegetables. The only real difference in my food consumption has been the removal of bread/pasta/rice, and the combining of foods. I compared what I have been eating with what my nutritionist has recommended, and I am still well within her guidelines. I am thrilled! I just ordered her new book, and am using her recipes, and many of my own. There is a lot of freedom in this plan, and I am very satistified.

Summary: Looks pretty good...
Review: After reading this book, I feel like I am ready to lose weight. So far I have been working on food combining for around 4 or 5 days. The recipes are wonderful (the goat cheese and sundried tomato salad is awesome!).

I am new to cooking (having just gotten out of school) and was wondering if anyone had some personal recipes to share, as I am not too sure about making up my own. Perhaps if I get enough recipes I can put them on to a web page for others who are interested. Just a thought...

Anyway, before disregarding Somersizing, read the book- it makes sense and is easy. Also, I suffer from GERD (reflux disease) and was popping Maalox and prescription xantax many times a day. Since starting it, I have not touched either medication- a feat which I have not been able to experience since I first experienced GERD several years back. That alone makes the book worth it and then some!

Good luck!

Summary: Good easy to follow eating plan
Review: Since I turned 40 this is the only way for me to lose weight. I lost a pound a day in the first two weeks. The plan is easy to follow and the recipes are quite good and simple.

Summary: A True Better Option to Diet
Review: I would like to say... I love to eat, I really do. Fortunitly I don't have too bad of a problem with weight gain, however I do gain aroung 10 to 25 lbs if I'm not careful. Which I'm usually not careful. I'm for the south, big family, big meals. One of the greatest times spent is Sunday Dinners at Mom's with all the family. So, there's the background. This way of eating is not so bad when you get the hang of it. I had a baby 3 months ago, I had gestational diabeties and had to go on a special diet similar to this. It was not bad. My husband hasn't got the hang of it yet. We eat simular meals and he does not lose the weight that I do. Now, I don't use alot of the meals in this book, but I use the basic concept rule. for example: for breakfast I eat scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon. My husband does the same but adds toast. I lose weight, he does not. Now, does that sound so bad...

Summary: Suzanne's concept of combining foods is very effective.
Review: I have implemented her program for 2 months and I am amazed at how successful I was to lose unwanted pounds. The recipes are very easy to follow and delicious. I highly recommed this book to anyone who has tried it all with no success. This concept of weigh loss and healthy eating does work!!!

Summary: I loved it!
Review: This book made me feel comfortable about giving up the white flour and sugar. I have been sommersizing for about 2 weeks now and I feel great! This is the first time I've truely felt satisfied on a food plan. I want to thank Suzanne for this book and her new book. I have both. I would also like to know where to write if I have questions. Summary: Very motivating, easy to relate to, cant wait to start!
Review: I am in my mid-thirties and never had to worry about calories, metabolism and fat grams. Well, as life has it...because of my invinsiblism to this, I have started to show the signs of my age and naiveity. I get bloated after eating a meal, or worse I get indigestion or acid reflux. The combining of foods seems like a way to not only relieve these symptoms, but loose alittle of the unwanted 'packaging' I've gotten! Suzanne's style of writing is very motivating and I can certainly relate to her stories. Can't wait to see and feel the results!

Summary: The pictures are pretty of Suzanne
Review: ...but little of content in recipes. I was dis- appointed to learn that most recipes had carbohydrates and sugar...no no's. Plus, the recipes seemed to be for dinner parties, with special ingredients that I would guess most people don't keep on hand. She didn't need to remind us that she lives 'high on the hog' - come down to earth with the rest of us, Suzanne!
