Rating: Summary: EVERYTHING about your muscles! Review: This is a very well put together book. In the style of Men's Health, the authors do a very good job of explaining how your body, and more importantly, your muscles work, all with their "Men's Health" flare. The beginning of the book goes over a foundation of your muscles and the different types, which really set the tone for the rest of the book. Later in the book, they do go into specific detail on exercises and do's & dont's for beginners, intermediates, and advanced situations, so all of their bases are covered. They have seperate chapters for all muscles groups and great pictures to help visualize.
Rating: Summary: Gym Reader Review: This is by far the best workout book I have ever read. It goes through everything from how your body works, to your diet, and has three great workout plans. Everything is written in an easy to undterstand manner and is accompanied by great photographs. No matter what level of working out you are at, you will get something out of this book.
Rating: Summary: A great book Review: This is not the first workout book I've ever bought but it is most certainly the best so far. Not only are there some great workouts by Ian King but there is an excellent explanation of how the body works which allows you to better understand what impact exercise will have on you. Probably not as important but something to consider is the presentation. I have several of the Men's Health books but this is by far the best looking of their books I have seen.
