Summary: Fitness Forever
Review: I came across this book when I was 14. At that time I started bodybuilding to strengthen my back which was effective. Some exercises do not require the aid of weights but just using my body weight was sufficient to progressively build and consolidate muscle groups. No matter if I workout at the gym, at home, holiday, or on business trip the exercises are effective. This is definitely a book to own and take action no matter if a beginner or have been working out for years.

Summary: Comphrensive Bible for Body building
Review: Must have book for any one who aspires to be in great shape. Arnold has explained that body building is not just about growing muscles and getting huge but also it affects your mind and changes your life making you more confident. Also it focusess on various principles such as training a weaker portion of body thus having proportionate shape and many more. The training programs may really blast your muscles. So use your judgement while doing the exercises and even if doesn't show immediate results you will be satisfied that you are doing something good for yourself. All in all this is an excellent book. You just read it and you know what I mean.

Summary: A MUST HAVE!
Review: This book is great, Arnold tells you how he accomplished building his Olympian Physique. He gives great calve training tips along with some example training splits that range from novice to advanced. He thoroughly covers diet, supplementation and nutrition. He describes proper form with pictures of every exercise imagenable. His approach to training is a lot different than people are used to reading in modern muscle magazines, but it worked for him. If people are not happy with the way they look and they are following the modern principles it might be worth a try to give Arnolds approach a try!

Summary: the bible
Review: If you are loking for a book to teach you not only the basics of bodybuilding, but also to inspire you into changing the shape of your body, then look no further. This encyclopedia tells you everything you ever wanted to know about building your body, but also how to lose fat, and keep it off. Nobody did it like arnold, so when you buy this book, you know that you are getting advice from the worlds best. The book gives an insight into the history of competitive body building, and the photo's of arnold and some of his stories which demonstrate his unbelievable level of determination and willpower is enough to motivate anyone into taking up an exercise program tomorrow. But this book isn't just for people who want to become muscle-bound...anyone who ever wondered about the structure of the human body, what makes it grow, what makes you lose fat, then this encyclopedia will keep you engrosed for days - Arnold has put together a wonderful book to read - not only that, but it will inspire you to make changes in your lifestyle, and teach you how to use your most powerful weapon...your mind. The lessons taught in this book will not only help you in the gym, but also in everyday life....The only point i would warn you about, is that the exercise programs set out in this book, are beyond 99% of human beings...you would need the genetics of arnold himself to get throught one of these workouts..However, once you have read this book you will be able to make your own exercise regime from the knowledge that it will bring you....Enjoy!

Summary: Truely the Best
Review: This book is an absolute must to buy. It is impossible to read this book and not get motivated to give your absolute all in the gym. He gives you a great overview and history of bodybuilding from the beginning and covers every aspect of bodybuilding in general. Great photos to get you inspired and motivated. It gives a good description and detailed pictures for just about all exercices that you can think of. The workout schedules are great in theory but are a little long but if you cut it in half or so, then it comes out right for someone not on steroids. Any one serious about bodybuilding should definitely buy this book.

Review: This book was a great guide if your an athlete trying to get into shape for any sport, or if your interested in bodybuilding. It was a complete guide to weight training including a list of exercises with pictures and the exact purpose of each exercise. If you are just getting started, or you think you're pretty advanced, you should still read this book because there is a lot to be learned.

Summary: quite comprehensive but outdated
Review: This contains a variety of bodyparts exercise and clearly states the uses of each exercise and weaking point training of each bodypat. This informtion is quite comprehnsive and outstanding. But I think that some types of exercises have been outdated which is easy to cause injury. In addition ,the exercise program advised in the book is too strenous in which muscles is trained too many sets and too frequent. In fact, many latest researches show that training muscle 2 or even 1 times for advanced bodybuilding is most effective because will grow only durning the compensation period.Training without enough recovery will lead minimum growth of muscle.Training the same muscle too many sets can give rise to break down of muscle protein. The book is poorly organised and the information of the books is not based on scientific researches

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: intersting but out-dated,for only drug user
Review: It describes many bodypart traning exercises and contains history of bodybuilding that is intersting. But a great deal of information of the books is outdated and not based on scientific researchs and the exercise program is not suitable for normal health people but only for steroid drug users .Some exercises is easy to cause injury to tendon, ligament and joints. The book is no written in organised manner. I recommend customers not to follow the exercise program and some exercises such as shoulder press behind neck. This is only for reference. For bodybuilding and strength traing, I recommend the books titled A complete guide to strength training and A practical approach to strength traning.
