Summary: Proud Of our Spiritual Heritage
Review: I received this book as a gift and now I give it to all my friends. The book helps people explore their spirituality and how it can be used in the everyday world around them. I am happy not only to learn about our ancestors philosophy but it gives me great pride to share their knowledge with others seeking to improve themselves. DO not just read this book but practice what the author advocates in your daily life. It is True Power in a small package.

Summary: WOW!!!
Review: I ordered this book because I heard Oprah Winfrey mention it in passing on an episode of her show and I checked the reviews on it here at Amazon to see what other people thought about it. It seemed like it would be interesting so I ordered it. I just received it today and read it cover-to-cover in a couple of hours. I had no idea what Toltec was before reading this book but I'm very greatful for the wisdom it contains. I will be reading this book over and over. I intend to start applying the four agreements to my life immediately. I know that they are going to make a major improvement in my life. I really recommend this book to everyone. It is very easy to understand and is a treasure of wisdom.

I will be using the book with a group of young men and women who have gotten into the juvenile criminal justice system. I have shared the book with teachers, social service, probation officers and police professionals. Their reviews have all been very positive. I also have found practicing the four agreements very rewarding in my life.

Summary: Reclaim Your Agreements, Reclaim Your Life!
Review: I canÕt think of a more perfect gift for those you love, beginning with yourself! Don MiguelÕs simple words belie the profundity of his message: that by changing the agreements we make with ourselves, we change not only the way in which we engage the world, but the way in which the world, itself, responds to us! These are life affirming lessons of the highest order, offered by a true master of love. I have turned to the words of this book again and again, and have been amazed at how with each reading new insights, greater understanding is revealed. This is true magic, true power. Although one hears it often these days, in this case it's really true-- if you've only one book to read this year, make it this one. It will without a doubt change you forever! Buy it, read it with an open heart, and come to life!

Summary: Unimaginably transformative. The spiritual fast track.
Review: Don Miguel Ruiz has managed to distill that which is common to all spiritual disciplines into four simple yet hugely profound agreements. These agreements are nothing less than the description of personality of an enlightened being. All spiritual masters live these agreements, regardless of their spiritual discipline, and the fact that Dr Ruiz has managed to find these common denominators demonstrates uncanny insight and brilliance. The masterful stroke is that if these agreements are practiced then the practitioner will soon see the world with the eyes of love. A must read for any person interested in increasing the quality of their love, self-mastery, and life.

Summary: The most useful spritual book I have ever read. Astounding!
Review: Many of us have searched for years for answers to basic questions about why we are here in this life and how should we conduct ourselves. Miguel Ruiz presents the most direct, simple, and yet profound answers to these questions. Thank you Miguel Ruiz. He has shown me that I can look within, using what he calls "the second attention," to find my own personal truth. His description of how we are "domesticated" into the Dream of the Planet, and the path to take to free ourselves from being controlled in our lives by that old dream, has freed me to live a much more authentic life.

The very best thing about these teachings are the straightforward tools that Miguel Ruiz gives us to change our old belief systems and agreements. I have used them, and they work! The freedom that Miguel Ruiz has discovered for himself shines through this book as simple wisdom and a genuine love that I could feel physically and emotionally as I travelled his path with him. I have read this book many times, and will continue to do so.

Summary: Simple Guide Book to the Path to Happiness and Love.
Review: <The Four Agreements> is a gem, both in its simplicity and its tremendously powerful message. If you long for heart-centered advice which is easy to understand and follow, this is the book for you. The Four Agreements are wonderful stepping stones to happiness and personal power. Each one reminds us of the ways in which we defeat ourselves by choosing to justify our personal mythologies, or belief systems, even at the cost of our own happiness. The concept of making agreements with yourself emphasises the way in which we can choose to react to our lives in a new way just as, long ago, we made the choices that govern our lives now. We can choose to react to ourselves and our world out of love rather than fear--with openness, rather than judgement--and we will reap all the benefits of that attitude.

What is just as wonderful as the simple yet powerful tools Miguel shares with us is the way in which he shares them. His gentle, story-telling style puts you at ease, and brings you into the dream of love that he lives every day. The agreements Miguel shares can apply to people in many different religious traditions or secular ways of life. Ask yourself: Do you want to be happy? This book exposes the true source of happiness and suffering, and shows how to use that knowledge. If you are trying to make a change, or you feel that something is missing in your life, make sure to read this book!

Summary: How to use these books
Review: The books I write are alive. They were created by an act of power, and contain seeds to transform your life.

The best way to use these tools break old agreements and habits:

1. Read the book once as quickly as possible, to understand the flow and spirit of the book

2. Read the book again, more slowly

3. Do your best to start practicing the steps in the books. Practice makes the master.

4. To facilitate the transformation, share these books with the people that you interact with daily: co-workers, family, friends, lovers. Once they read the book you can help each other, and make an agreement to support each other to create a new dream of communication based in love, rather than fear. Then the drama in your life will stop right away. Create groups to support each other and help each other live these new principles, and watch your whole life change rapidly.
