Review: This is a wonderful little book. Easy to read and tremendously profound. I would recommed it to anyone. No matter where you are on your path in life, no matter your education, income, religion, occupation, race, or anything else we think makes us different or seperate this book is for you. An easy, loving, hope-filled book with all the answers you need to live an incredible life in four profound 'agreements'.

Review: This book is written with a disarming,child-like and charming simplicity. Only upon reflection is the depth of this wisdom appreciated. I have found that the Four Agreements cover any aspect of human interaction I have encountered. In the hectic pace that most of us experience, it helps to have a simplistic touchstone to help keep the focus. I also find that these agreements (and their explanations) are not at odds with my personal ethics/beliefs. I purchase multiple copies of this book and have shared it with friends. One friend made peace with her father after over 20 years of non-communication. Can I attribute it all to this book? Probably not. But it certainly helped.

The book is inspiration-plus. It proves that with a few simple principles your life can be happy and meaningful. It's helped me with every aspect of my life: the practical, the creative, the emotional and the spiritual. Again - gracias, Miguel. And by the way: just having the book around is a blessing. It has one of the most beautiful covers I've ever seen. I always want to be picking it up, running my hand over it. The painting on it is gorgeous, and it has such a velvety, glossy, sensual feeling. This is the book to give for birthdays and holidays. People will never forget such a gift.

Review: This short book is written simply but with great truth. Ruiz gives four principles to direct one to become free from a negative lifestyle and negative thought. The concepts are couched in Toltec beliefs and can be adapted by anyone in any situation. Inspiring.

Review: Some things are simpler than they look. Ruiz sees life as an agreement made by, and with human beings and the universe. However, his simple agreements are much more than they appear to be. Just take any one of them and apply it to your life and you will see immediate change. Although they are stated clearly and directly - these agreements are hard to genuinely apply to one's life because they require a look at one's true self, and I caution you to not underestimate their simplicity. If you fear change, this book will terrify you and provide you with exactly what you really need to shake up your life and move forward. If you do not fear change - then you will be able to see the benefits without the veil of fear. Either way - accept it's simplicity, and you will benefit greatly from these simple agreements.

Review: I bought the audio version and listened to the entire reading within 1 week. Peter Coyote's reading is exceptional. I found the Toltec philosphy to be fascinating. I wish everyone would listen to this tape or read the book - it would make the world a better place.
