Review: I couldn't even make it through half of it it was so dry. I didn't realize this was written 50+ years ago and recommends strategies like repeating phrases daily (a little far fetched for me).I recently listened to the audio version of "The Millionaire Mind," and found it much more interesting.

Summary: The grandaddy of all personal development books
Review: Think and Grow Rich has been around since the 1930's and is without doubt the grandaddy of all personal development books right along with Dale Carnegies How To Win Friends and Influence People and Dr. Norman Vincent Peales The Power of Positive Thinking. What makes Think and Grow Rich so outstanding is that it encapsulates the strategies of the most successful people living in Hills time and possibly the most successful people of all time. Think & Grow Rich is not a "feel good" book, rather it is a book with facts and exercises to bring out your potential. All of the greats of today including Zig, Robbins, Waitley, Tracy, Les Brown and more all attribute Think and Grow Rich to helping them reach their sensational success. I believe so strongly in this book that I am now giving it away as a accessory gift at weddings. Think and Grow Rich has stood the test of time. The principles work only if you use them. Butu first, you have to know what to use. For that you need to read the book. It's great.

Summary: A very well researched book that gets results
Review: Napolean Hill spent over 20 years interviewing the most successful men of his time and then put the findings of his study; the characteristics of the most successful people in Think & Grow Rich.The fact is that successful people think differently. This is why a multi-millionaire can lose his entire net worth and have it all back in five years or less while unsuccessful people plod along and never amass any real level of wealth or success.Hill states that when the secret appears to you, whether it be in the first ten pages or on the 200th page, that is when your life will change.This is when you are ready for it.I have known people who read the book and never got it. Not surprisingly, these people have never achieved very much in life either. If you don't get it...you don't get it.Think & Grow Rich is a must read for all those who want success and are ready for it.I wish you the best of succe$$, happiness and wealth.

Review: A biblical phrase says; "Faith without deeds is death." Think and Grow Rich will teach you how to use your brain to create wealth, but you also have to take action to make it work. Great book. Transformed my life. Highly recommended.

Summary: The all time classic that still delivers
Review: It's hard to believe that Think and Grow Rich has been aroud now for over 70 years!When I first heard of this book in the early 70's, I thought it was a new book at that time. Then when I heard it was nearly 40 years old (at that time) I, being a college grad and highly sophisticated figured that Hill's work was outdated.About that time I met a young businessman with a harelip and a severe speech impediment. This guy was an 8th grade dropout and was extrolling the merits of Think & Grow Rich and network marketing. This guy didn't look like much. He was pretty ordinary looking. Average, maybe even below average and he wasn't rich. In fact he had to borrow money from his uncle to get into business because he had worked on a farm all his life and came from a poor family.I figured this guy was insane and had gotten sucked in by some city slickers.Many years later I noticed a big limo coming through town. Curious I waited to see who would come out. In this little southern town, newer cars were rare and seeing a limo was like the president was coming to town.Much to my surprise the man that walked out was the harelip! I walked up to him and started to introduce myself but amaziingly to me, he remembered me even though we had only met once.I asked him what the occasion was and was actually belligerent enought to suggest that perhaps his uncle had paid for the limo. He then told me he owned the limo..in fact a whole fleet of limo's. He had moved to Orlando, Fl and created a cosmetic/personal development company that extrapulated into over 78 companies. His net worth, he said, was over $350 million ($1.5 billion in todays money)Stunned, I asked him how he did it.He attributed his success to Think and Grow Rich and some other books like How To Win Friends and Influence People and he said the most important book, The Bible.I went ahead and bought a copy of Think and Grow Rich. I didn't get into his motivational or mlm company or any mlm or direct sales company, buut I did use what I learned from Think and Grow Rich to achieve success that was extraordinary for me.Surprisingly to me, I also became a better parent, a better spouse, a better friend, a better coworker, a better manager and became better in everything I did with more balance all the way around.This book may have been around for along time, but the principles are timeless. Since the 70's I have not met a single person who has achieved any level of success who has not at least read Think & Grow Rich.Napolean Hill's book is a classic because it delivers...but ony if you read it and use it.

Summary: Think... and buy something else!
Review: This book has been given many good reviews and that is wonderful. However, it was not any use to me. I found it an extremely difficult read with no concrete suggestions. In fact it was totally USELESS. The author simply repeated, "when it comes to you, you will know what it is". After waiting for "it " to come to me for over a 100 pages, I gave up. My wife read it and she also gave up and long before I did. For those of us who like concrete in your face material then I suggest that you ...Think and buy something else. If you like nebulous expressions this may do for you. Certainly I do not 'think' that anyone will get rich from simply reading this book.

Summary: Think and Grow Rich is
Review: I read this book ten years ago and it really helped me to focus my thinking on my goals, visualize them being achieved and take actions to achieve them. Thumbs up! Now, I have to say that I definitely recommend Optimal Thinking-How to be Your Best Self as the companion to this book because it shows you how to consistently use the essential thinking to make the most of anything and everything in life and to take the best actions to achieve your most important goals. These books are masterpieces!

Summary: Success and Riches
Review: Think and grow rich is absolutly amazing, im 24 now and have never read an entire book in my life, untill this one. Napoleon Hill was sent from God to Serve his purpose. words honestly cant descibe how wonderfull this book is, its changed my life, im now getting "A" and "A+" in all my classes in collage when before in High School i was a "D" "C" and "B" if i was lucky student, that along with helpfull hints from Tony Robbins, a wonderfull man who iv never meet but would love to some day.
get this book and apply its knowledge!

Summary: I must change my tune
Review: initially I gave this book one star because it was ten years ago when I read it and I did not understand the language .then, I gave it two stars because I browsed through it and saw how significant this book was. Now for my final assessment after rereading it. WOW! After years of rereading soul searching and the like. I see why this book is very much a book I should've been reading religiously. Unfortunately for me I had to learn the hard way. If you can keep an open mind and read through this whole book, Napoleon clarifies things that you might not understand. If you follow every suggestion this book will help you in every area of your life. I can only imagine if I understood this book ten years ago where I would be today. Of course I would've have needed to form a study group back then. This book is timelesss. My suggestion is read this book with your life and study it to the core.
The bad thing about this book is it is a boring read,like that "other" book. Also,it should have had an intro on motivation so, that the reader can get a better understanding of what he/she is getting into. Another thing that the book could use is a subject on time management,what it is, and what it is not.
Side note:When I first started on my path I had noone to share my thoughts with so, I went at it alone this was difficutlt.If you are young like I was maybe you want to download this book for free on some sites so you can test to see if it is for you. If you decide to buy get the action pack version.

Summary: This is a great book. Will teach you to think right
Review: If mere thinking equated results, then all the one star reviewers will be successful and have something worthwhile to do with their time instead of mindlessly posting inarticulate posts about one of the greatest books of all time. Think & Grow Rich will teach you to think right. The way that Carnegie, Schwab, J.P Morgan, Ford, Wannamaker, Woolworth, Taft, Roosevelt, Hubbard, Dr. Alexander Graham Bell and too many others to mention think. Think & Grow Rich only works if you apply what you read. Good book and highly recommended for everyone who wants to be a winner.
