Rating: Summary: The Magic of "Think and Grow Rich" Review: I am a 16 year old boy, who has become consumed by Napolean Hill's principles. I remember the day vividly when I first heard the name of Napolean Hill. It was at basketball camp during the summer, and a guest speaker lectured everyone about how to achieve the object of our definite desires. I now have almost everybook written by Napolean Hill and I am awaiting the release of his biography. This book has given me the information to achieve anything I desire. Also if there is anyone who would like to discuss anything concerning napolean hill, please write me an email.

Rating: Summary: This book should be mandatory reading for kids 13 & up. Review: I read this book in 1976 and once I started, I couldn't put it down. After applying the techniques and advice given by Napoleon Hill, my life began to change. I was promoted on my job, time after time. I eventually started my own mail order business which was very succesful and then I branched off into real estate, auction buying and selling and started my own advertising agency. And I ran it all from my own home. I accomplished anything I went after and money just seemed to find me. Whenever I got too happy and forgot about giving back and helping others, I suffered. Napoleon new what he was talking about. I believe that "Think and Grow Rich" can help anybody who cares to put in the time and effort to make their dreams come true and who will conquer the Six Ghost of Fear.....and get serious.
Rating: Summary: The secret you've been looking for Review: This book explains in great detail the basic problem that people have in being dissatisfied with their current situations. Hill's explanation of Andrew Carnegie's secret of success is as up to date as it was when it was written decades ago. To the person who wrote that they thought the book was going to be about "how to make money and what not", and found it to be about positive thinking obviously missed the whole point. Re-read it. I read it at 25 when I was broke with pennies in my pocket and today I am retired at age 28. I attribute 100% of my financial and mental success to the ideas I found in "Think and Grow Rich". This book will change your life.
Rating: Summary: eye opener Review: The US school system should incorporate this info and spend less time teaching subjects that do not help our children that can not make them success ful into there adult careers. Such as math, english, history, social studies. If children were taught this info we, as a nation, would have a large lead over the other global communitities.
Rating: Summary: This book was spellbounding and factual. A must read. Review: Napoleon Hill provided a road map to success for our lives in the personal, financial, and wholesome departments. These principles are what everyone should engender for prosperity all the time. When I read the book, I felt the title was another one of those "get it now" types. Not this book. I was totally taken aback, when I begin to read the pages. In fact, I couldn't put the book down for at least a day to ensure I was reading what I thought. Since reading Think and Grow Rich in 1981, I have accomplished every goal I have really put myselt to task on. The steps and principles are simple, no rocket science stuff, but reality-based. Think and Grow Rich is the book of the century!
Rating: Summary: This book has helped shape me as a person Review: I am 22 years old, and this book was given to me by my father when I was 13. Since that time, I have reread many portions of this book, and can see how this book has not only helped me in my business, but more importantly in my life. If you would like to give someone that you truly care about a gift that they will remember and use for a lifetime, this is it.
Rating: Summary: Great book, if it's what you're looking for. Review: After I read this book, I did not feel much smarter or richer, mainly I felt more experienced and wise. By the title, I thought that this book would give tips and advice on how to earn money. Instead, it was more of a book on the power of positive thinking and what not. Make sure you know what you want to read about before you buy this book. Other than that, it was well written and presented.
Rating: Summary: This book is about much more than making money Review: In addition to paving the road to riches, Think and Grow Rich guides us to develop a more positive attitude toward ourselves and life in general. It teaches healthy ways of thinking, acting, and interacting with others. Prospective parents should be required to read this book before attempting to raise a child. Teachers should read this book before teaching our children. Managers, Homemakers, Executives, Athletes, Musicians ... we can all benefit from the ideas presented in this book, and the world would probably be a better place to live as a result!
