Summary: insightful
Review: I've read this book 25 times, after the Holy Bible this book is the best for success in any area of your life. I've researched Hills findings personally , and I can personallly give you books, chapters, and verses on my findings . I've helped others and myself by using this book. I am presently using it to help my agents. I've also used this book to help church saints. you've got to read this book at least 3 times to understand what I am saying, then you will not want to stop reading this book. Millionaires I know have personallly attributed their success to reading this book. My Dad President and founder of Marshall Engineering Corporation used the principles in this book to build an empire.

Summary: Not a bad book
Review: This book is not so much about HOW to become rich, but rather, how to fire up your enthusiasm ABOUT becoming rich. The theory is that the more you desire riches, the harder you will work to achieve them. This is not a bad theory, but those looking for a step-by-step procedure may be disappointed by this book.

The key points of this book are Goal-setting, so you know exactly what you want to accomplish; Visualization of your goals and how you will accomplish them; and Affirmations, or the main process by which you fire up your desire.

One suggestion of the book that can easily backfire is to "burn your bridges behind you" -- to eliminate all possible sources of retreat. This will certainly increase your motivation, but it can also cause much hardship should you fail despite your best efforts.

The book makes reference to telepathy and the "Infinite Intelligence of the Universe" with which your subconscious mind communicates. These unproven claims may turn off the more scientifically-minded readers.

In all, the book makes some good points and is thought-provoking.

Summary: Changed my life
Review: This book ranks as one of the top five books I have ever read. It should be a must for every graduating senior, and for those who are trying to put their lives back together. It is not a religous book but it speaks to the heart.

Summary: Cut through!!
Review: This and How to Win Friends and Influence People are my top recommendations for anyone on a success journey. Your thoughts do create your reality...that's the simple secret. Most of us, however have not had practice in weilding the right thoughts necessary to cut through the stifling reality which we alone created for ourselves...this book can help! (A vital part of my Millionaire University Reading List on my site)

Summary: Hmmm....A very ordinary book?
Review: Looks like the one star review needs more than just a book to change his/her life! (Spelled Read as red and capitalization was off! Maybe needs an education before he/she could be successful!) Anyway, this book is AWESOME and you really need this book to make your life easier. Success is hard but the book has the answers for you. That's all I can really say!

Summary: A very ordinary book
Review: i have red this book several years ago and have never got rich. Moreover i'm not motivated to read it again and think one can find many other better books on this subject.

Summary: Excellent! A must own!
Review: Read, re-read and buy copies for your friends! No kidding! This is one POWERHOUSE of a book. Hearing about this book from other self-help sources has turned me on to the wonder that is Napoleon Hill, W.Clement Stone and several others. Yet, the Napoleon Hill works are just top notch. Try it for yourself, it's CHEAP enough and you've DEFINITELY got the time and resources to put these techniques to use in your own life. If you TRULY want to succeed in life, cut some of your TV watching time and curl up with a REAL book like Napoleon Hill's, "Think and Grow Rich". You won't be sorry

Summary: See Yourself Rich and Successful!
Review: This is one of the best inspirational books ever written to help you decide to achieve whatever you want out of life. Better than most, Think and Grow Rich also shows you essential techniques to put the plan into action. I like to think of being successful even more than being rich, because by being successful, you can be rich in so many ways. There is a great new companion book I also highly reccomend. Pick up a copy of The 2,000 Percent Solution by Donald Mitchell, Carol Coles and Robert Metz. It clearly describes, using everyday anecdotes and examples the "stalls " that keep people from attaining their dreams. For example: The Communications Stall (we really don't listen to each other), The Disbelief Stall (we can't do it), The Tradition Stall (we've always done it this way), The Bureaucratic Stall (too many unproductive things to do), The Misconception Stall (based on poor assumptions) and The Unattractiveness Stall (not wanting to wade in murky waters). Read Think And Grow Rich to motivate yourself to change, to see yourself rich and successful. Read The 2,000 Percent Solution to identify your worst stalls and learn how to make them evaporate to progress at 20 times the normal rate to achieve 20 times as much.
