Summary: weLEAD Book Review by leadingtoday.org
Review: In the turbulent corporate world it is important to anticipate, recognize, and understand change. Who Moved My Cheese? is a book which describes how to deal with change. Who Moved my Cheese? is a story about how two mice and two little men look for cheese in a maze. The cheese pictures what we want to have in life, whether it is a small income or a life of luxury. The maze pictures where we spend our time looking for what we want. Some people are content with what they have and resist change, while others are constantly looking for new opportunities. This entertaining little parable is a quick read which illustrates that sometimes we get too accustomed to our cheese being in a particular place and fail to notice when the supply gets smaller or is about to disappear. Then when we finally notice, we are often too frustrated to look for alternative sources of cheese, or else we eventually start looking while losing valuable time. As you read this book you will probably start relating the different characters in the book to people that you know, and how they react to change. Who Moved My Cheese? is not just for business professionals or organizations, but can be very helpful for everyday life.

Summary: Who moved my cheese? GREAT BOOK~~~
Review: Who Moved My Cheese? seems to say that no matter what changes, no matter what, you should see it as a good thing.

Change. It happens to all of us, but is it good or bad? Spencer Johnson elaborates in his "book" Who Moved My Cheese?, presented as a "fable" about dealing with change in business and personal life.

The story revolves around two mice, "Sniff" and "Scurry", and two "littlepeople", "Hem" and "Haw". They live in a "maze" and spend their time running around, looking for, finding, and eating "Cheese". Cheese, as is "a metaphor for what we want to have in life", such as a job, a relationship, money, a big house, or an insulting yet best-selling business book. Cheese can even be "...an activity like jogging or golf..."

I have learned three important aspects from this book is that ¡§The Quicker You Let Go Of Old Cheese, The Sooner You Find New Cheese¡¨, ¡§Old Beliefs Do Not Lead You to New Cheese¡¨ and ¡§Movement in a New Direction Helps You Find New Cheese¡¨.

Summary: Indenify who you are and be ready to change
Review: This book is very simple, and is very complex!
The wordings, sentences and structure are very simple, but the meanings are very depth.
People in the world have 4 characters: sniff, scurry, hem and haw. And all of us are looking for our ¡¥cheese¡¦ ¡V that is what we want to have in life. However, some of us are arrogance of success and neglect the changes of the world. Maybe some of us notice the changes, but still refuse to make changes. Why? It is because of fear! We fear to make changes and we believe we would get out of comfort if we adapt to change. Then what is the result? As the story said ¡¥If you do not change, you can become extinct.¡¦
After read this book, you can identify which character you are in and you can learn most from Hem¡¦s adventure. At last I will remember Hem¡¦s summary:
¡¥Change happens, anticipate change, monitor change, adapt to change quickly, change, enjoy change, and finally be ready to change quickly and enjoy it again and again.¡¦
Although every people know this philosophy and some of them criticize it is a commonplace, how many of us will really adapt it?
Read this book and you will discover how important it is and I believe it will lead me success.

Summary: Long live the allegory
Review: You can read this in less than 30 mins. A quick, simple allegory about change & transition.

More than one person has given it to their staff/managers in a less-than-subtle hint.

An interesting ratio to note: the story is 73 pages (A5 in large print), and the "About the Author" section is 2 pages.

Summary: Excellent! Wonderful!
Review: I loved this book. I purchased it over a year ago and read it in two sittings (only to absorb the info). I could have easily downed it in a night but I needed a couple of days to mull it over and apply it. Since that time, my life has done a complete overhaul in a positive way. I've also sent this book to a friend who was also going through tough changes. I definitely recommend this book.

Summary: Who Cheesed Me Off?
Review: Like hundreds (if not thousands) of other readers of this work, I found it to be completely useless. The author stretches an essentially one-paragraph parable into an awful (and way overpriced) book.

The basic message? Change happens; get used to it.

Wow, that's deep (NOT!). My only saving grace in reading this book was that someone gave it to me as a gift. I sure feel sorry for them . . . and for anyone who is considering getting this time-waster of a text. DON'T BOTHER!!

Review: Here is a summary of all the useful information contained in this book:

ADAPT!

Is there anyone in the world who doesn't know this? Are we so dumb and shallow that we can only digest it in (bad) fairy tale form? Was it really necessary to add such gems of insight as: "Imagining myself enjoying new cheese even before I find it, leads me to it"? No, no and no. Avoid this rancid cheese at all costs.

Summary: Who Moved my BRAIN?????
Review: You mean I didn't have to go to college, read literature and philosophy, study history, science, math, and human behavior, grapple with the big questions of life, learn to think for myself, become a well-rounded person....?

You mean I'm really nothing more than a mouse caught in a maze?

You mean all I ever had to do was adopt a cheerful can-do attitude when the giant disembodied hand moved my only source of nourishment?

Why do I feel like this book was written by someone who works for the giant disembodied hand??

This book is an insult to any sentient being who possesses a shred of dignity. It is a sad comment on our culture, society, and educational system that so many people have found this inane drivel to be "life-changing".

Wake up, people!

There's an old saying, "Even if you win the rat race, your still a rat!"

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyable.
Review: I am currently going through retrenchment and this book is being used as a tool to help my work colleagues and I cope with this "change" in our working life. It's an enjoyable book to read,I learned that there is enough cheese for everyone that can run out if you take it for granted, and you have to be prepared to find more or become extinct.

Summary: The worst book ever written
Review: This was a really quick and boring read. I figured so many people were ranting and raving about it that perhaps reading it might do me some good. No, not really.

The book is about a story of two mice and two little people who live in a maze and try to find cheese. They all find a huge supply of cheese and when the cheese is all gone, the two mice go off to find more cheese while the two little people can't quite accept that the cheese is gone and isn't coming back.

The story of the people at their high school reunion telling the story is laughable. They're all so excited to discuss how the story changed their lives. I wrote better stories in the 3rd grade.

I was not motivated at all by this book. View me as a Hem if you want, but the book is filled with things you SHOULD already know. You have to change and adapt in this world if you're going to get anywhere in life. You have to pay attention to your surroundings so you can notice when things are changing and be prepared for it.

I honestly can't believe that there are people who don't already know this. I can't see how reading this horribly written book will motivate anyone to change their ways.
