Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Obvious
Review: Not only did I think the "cutesy" story was corny, the lessons in the book were so obvious it was almost insulting. I would like to see how much impact this book would have on someone not opened to change.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not for everyone
Review: This book can be interesting in realizing how some people react to changing situations, but it doesn't provide much insight to those who love change and think it's good to begin with. If you like change & are looking to learn something, this book's probably not what you're looking for. I found it a waste of time.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Do you have the guts?
Review: This audio version of the book is a great story and one people can use to hold up as a mirror to their own lives. Being able to adapt to change is so important and the authors do an excellent job of illustrating the various dynamics of change. This book will definitely locate YOU.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Cheesy Story
Review: An entertaining and simple story to help you deal with change. Though somewhat simplistic, the story holds much wisdom. It is a quick read. It is worth the short time it takes to go through the book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Mirror Mirror
Review: This book tells a wonderful story that is both insightful and inspiring. Regardless of your situation, read this book with an open mind and it will act like a "tire checker" on your attitude. It's short and silly, but probably one of the best ways to invest an hour in yourself.

Summary: Hem or Haw? A Self reflection!
Review: Dr. Johnson brings us a fresh air of simplicity. We all know the truths in this story, I believe, but the willingness to see the reality of ourselves within the story is both the tricky part and the wonderful gift!

Within one hour, I had read, digested, and felt unsettled about some of my own choices. I also felt motivated to move positively with the normal changes in my own life.

This book should be sold at a special price for a dozen copies.......you just have to share it with so many others you care about!

Summary: wsmc was worthwhile for our annual conference
Review: After reading other reviews of WSMC, we decided to approach its use in our annual leadership retreat with a 'lighthearted' feel. We asked someone who is familiar with the story to tell it to the group in 12 minutes. We called it "Storytime." Then we did a teambuilding exercize, where teams had 5 minutes to get through a maze without speaking. Discussion tied the story and the activity together and it was well received by our audience. I appreciated reading the reviews on Amazon ahead of time, as it enabled me to plan around the concern that some find it condescending.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Easy Yet Profound Read
Review: Everyone is going through some sort of change but this delightful story assists you in uncovering the way you face change. I enjoyed it so much that I passed it on to my boyfriend who then passed it on to a co-worker, who passed it on to his wife....

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Make you think again about your life
Review: The impressive thing about this book is that within a few pages (that take only an hour of reading) makes you think again and again about your life. It leads you to think about the chances that you are missing by hanging out with old missed chances. It forces you to move on. It shows you some of the wrong directions in your life, business, family etc. This book is a must have, and a great gift for friends
