Summary: The power of Intention
Review: This is a book that can make a powerful difference in one's spiritual life. One of the biggest issues Dr Dyer points to is the trap of approaching spiritual and material aspirations from within our will power instead of realizing here and now that we already are connected to our Source and its expression - The Field of Universal Intention. If we can align ourselves with the Field of Intention, its principles work through us and with us. Our job is to get our egos and their mischief out of the way. As a long-time student of yoga, meditation, ayurveda, and self-help I highly recommend this book and its approach. It contains information I have not seen in such accessible form anywhere else.

Summary: Connecting with Dyer
Review: Wayne Dyer's ability to connect with his audience-whether they are at one of his seminars or sitting at home reading his books-is fascinating. He has always had the ability to make complex concepts seem simple. If you like Wayne Dyer, this book will not disappoint. James Green,, author of "If There's One Thing I've Learned."

Summary: Dr. Dyer Gives Us all a Handle on Guidance to Being Human
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Dr. Dyer has a way with words that are unique and inspiring. His analogy of grabbing onto the street car rope and being pulled to your desired intentional destination is quite amazing and a great visual tool. This past year has had many ups and downs for me and Dr. Dyer's book has been a lifeline in suggested approaches to deal with today's world. He trully educates by example, not only with his own life, but the lives of many who really put the power of intention to work to help us all. I will read this book again and again- no doubt, for nuggets of wisdom.

Summary: Don't even bother to glance at this piece of crap!
Review: When I read the title of this book, "The Power of Intention", I assumed a psychological self-help book with some anecdotes and tips.

After reading a few sentences, I was confused because I thought I was reading a book about Christianity.

The author has this vague intention to preach how mighty the god is and he is the one who can make us happy and peaceful.

Author's writing is so contrived, artificially shallow and wannabe-abstract; I couldn't even summarize what the author wrote about.

Give me a break!

Summary: A must for everyone striving to reach the next level.
Review: I was bored one afternoon and switched on the TV. I saw Wayne's familiar face and heard his wonderful voice. This caught my attention and I watched the entire show for the next 2 hours. Impulsively I ordered the entire set (including the DVD, audio CD and the meditation books and CD).

These promptly arrived a few days later. Both I and my wife thoroughly enjoy watching the DVDs when we are at home together. The book is very powerful as well. I have been a great fan of Wayne this has been one of his best works. "You'll see it when you believe it" being my all-time favorite.
