Rating: Summary: Pulling it all together Review: There is nothing new in this universe except our understanding of it and our ability to implement the principles of creation in a matter that makes us feel good. We are on the creating/leading edge of growth. It is entirely an individual matter. Wayne brings together what several authors and he himself has also said in other publications. "Our joy is in how we see our world". There is much of what Abraham has been trying to tell us here. A lot of what Depak has been expressing and also some of Louise Hay. Wayne puts it into a format that makes the "knowing" come a little easier for some of us. It is not a ACIM type text. It is an outstanding book. The months of waiting for it to be published seemed long at times but were certainly worth the wait.
Rating: Summary: The best Dyer book ever - the best book ever! Review: To me, this is the best of all Dr. Dyer's books. He takes all he has been teaching to a higher and clearer dimension. This book is life-changing, life-saving. Have been searching for a long time - like the Emily Dickinson quote "Not knowing when the Dawn will come, I open every Door." This new book by Dr. Dyer is a Door - the ultimate Door as far as I am concerned. It is a "Door" to the Infinite, a path to connect to our Source, a "Door" with Light flooding through. It spoke to me at a time when I had almost given up the search for truth. For me, it has been a healing as no other book has been. It is also wonderful to see Dr. Dyer make the brilliant insights of Thomas Troward available and accessible to readers today. Troward wrote in the early 1900's and Dr. Dyer has brought the Truths he discovered into focus in the clearest words. This is a book filled with energy and, for me, on a different level than all of Dr. Dyer's others books. They were helpful but this book is enlightening! He's found the Truth and given that gift to all his readers.
Rating: Summary: A Wonderful Book From a Wonderful Teacher. Review: Wayne Dyer is an exceptional teacher. I always gain valuable insights while reading his books, and this was no exception. In "The Power of Intention," he combines ancient, powerful information into a unique package that is inspiring, enjoyable, and potentially transformational. Additionally, to the open and patient reader, the pages radiate a noticeable feeling, an unspoken teaching. For these reasons and more, this book should be on your must read list. I highly recommend "The Power of Intention." Reviewed by Evan Finer, author of "Effortless WellBeing: The Missing Ingredients for Authentic Wellness".

Rating: Summary: Connect to the energy and then detach. Great Book! Review: A lot of important information is given in this book that will help you connect to the field of energy that you are connected to whether you may realize it or not, and then detach from what you are trying to manifest in order to allow the manifestation process to bring you what you desire. This is a comprehensive book that will help to elevate your life in all areas. It will help you turn you negative thinking around, which is the by-product of turning your life around. This is one of the few books that has impacted my life, and has helped me to 'feel good' which is why it is highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: A feel renewed Review: Dr. Dyer has a remarkable ability to express complex concepts. His book helped me to finally concretley grasp some of the spiritual ideals I've been mulling over in my mind for years. Thanks Dr. Dyer for helping me to connect the dots and see the bigger picture! Another book that I recommend is "He Never Called Agaian", along with "Good Grief."
Rating: Summary: A cautionary note Review: I've really struggled with whether or not to write this review and even now I am questioning my motives. Here's my problem. The work that Dyer does is extremely important stuff. Waking up to the moment, finding our spiritual authenticity, learning from the ancient masters. It's very important work and Dyer places himself as something of a clearinghouse for various wisdom traditions. That much is good. My problem is that Dyer himself does not strike me authentic. He strikes me as an egoic sort who's playing at being a spiritual teacher. (Perhaps for the money?) In any other field of human endeavor this would be fine, but not here. It is the presence (authenticity) of the teacher that can make a huge difference in our growth. I would almost recommend that you read his bibliography and read those things. There are other teachers out there. (I'd feel awkward saying a name here) that can be of tremendous help to all of us. Again, you're on the right track but I urge you to find a genuine teacher. Good luck!!!
Rating: Summary: A real fan Review: I too find that Dyer's work has had a huge impact on how I think and feel and really how I behave as I walk this earth. When I bought this title I also bought the recommended title, The Emotional Intelligence Quickbook. I'd love for Dr. Dyer to write about this concept. It is AMAZING and really related well to his work.
Rating: Summary: WAYNE DYER - A POSITIVE LIGHT IN MY LIFE. Review: I HAVE BEEN READING WAYNES BOOKS FOR YEARS AND BECAUSE OF THE INSIGHTS CONTAINED IN THEM MY LIFE HAS CHANGED FOR THE BETTER IN WAYS THAT I NEVER IMAGINED BEFORE. I HAVE MET WAYNE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AT HIS SEMINARS AND FOUND OUT THAT HE DOES WALK HIS TALK.HE STAYS AND SIGNS BOOKS FOR HOURS AFTER HIS TALKS ARE OVER. I ONCE WITNESSED A MOST TOUCHING MOMENT WHEN A YOUNG HANDICAPPED BOY ASKED FOR WAYNES AUTOGRAPH ,AFTER WHICH WAYNE GAVE HIM A HUGE HUG AND HAD THE YOUNG BOY IN TEARS OF HAPPINESS. ITS A BEAUTIFUL THING WHEN A PERSON CAN TOUCH THE LIVES OF SO MANY PEOPLE AND GIVE THEM INSIGHTS INTO LIVING THEIR LIVES AT HIGHER LEVELS.NOT EVERYONE IS GOING TO AGREE WITH WHAT WAYNE SAYS BUT I DO KNOW HE IS A KIND PERSON ,WHO IS LIVING HIS BLISS AND SHARING HIS MESSAGE WITH ANYONE WHO WANTS TO LISTEN.I HAVE BECOME A KINDER PERSON AS A RESULT OF HIS WISDOM AND AM LEARNING TO BECOME BETTER AS A HUMAN ON ALL LEVELS. THANKYOU WAYNE,I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU AGAIN IN AUGUST OF THIS YEAR IN SYDNEY.( DOWN UNDER !!)
Rating: Summary: What's Not To Like? Review: I read some of the negative reviews and was not surprised at how people pick, pick, pick at good, positive things. Those are the ones who truly need to read this wonderful book. Whether the author gained his knowledge from others doesn't matter to me. He quotes numerous sources of inspiration throughout the book. And whatever his past was (as some reviewers insist on telling us about) doesn't matter either. What matters is the message this book is giving. Quite simply "Get over yourself." This author has greatly assisted me on my journey, and so have other authors, and I'm sure more will in the future. That's called living and it's part of life. Once you stop opening up to learning and seeking knowledge than you will be consumed in your negativity and wind up becoming bitter and nasty. If this book finds its way into your hands, consider yourself blessed and do try to read it with an open, loving mind.
