Summary: I laughed until I thought I would croak
Review: This book is both funny and serious, and very well-written. Advice with a side dish of humor. A must for all unpartnered ladies. Loved the tale of the diet freak, the misadventure with the makeover man, and the bit about the "sword."
Bravo, Marilyn A.!!

Summary: Don't date anyone until you read this!
Review: I love this book. It's full of advice that should be followed by any woman who really wants to get married. There ARE good marriageable men out there, but you can waste too much of your precious time on FROGS that will never be one of them. I wasted way too much time--I wish this book had come out about 18 years ago!

Summary: Toadally Fun, Funny... and True!
Review: Some people don't have a sense of humor. If you're one of them, don't read this book... because it is ABSOLUTELY FUNNY and true at the same time. The author nails the traits of guys we've gone out with - and should get rid of fast, but too often don't. If you liked "He's Just Not that into You" - you'll love "Never Kiss a Frog." It's got the same theme, but is presented in a unique way... this time naming the different kinds of guys.... as frogs.

There are clever sayings and cute illustrations - and the names of the frogs are a hoot! Such as Sir Frogalot, Count Frogula and The Godfrogger. And one I've met all too often - The Really-Nice-Guy-But-Really-Bad-Kisser Frog! Every girl who's ever had a bad date can relate. The stories are fun to read and provide many laughs. Sure, it's not a lonnnng book, but hey, neither was "The Rules" - and that didn't provide any chuckles. If you're looking for "deep" and heavy psychological relationship babble - find something else. But for a fun, quick and laugh-filled romp - this is a "ribbiting" book to enjoy and share with your girlfriends!

Summary: Cutesy and boring.
Review: The reviews were great. I expected a fun read with perhaps a few pointers. Less than 20 minutes from cover to cover, no deep thinking here, devoid of pointers, not particularly funny, and saturated ad-nauseum with "froggy" quips. Be sure to have someone to gift it to, as it's not a little gem you'd keep in your library.

Summary: Frog-a-riffic!!!
Review: The subtitle to this book is "a girl's guide to creatures from the dating swamp." I would add that men could learn a thing or two about frogs reading this book, as well -- and have fun doing it. It's clever and witty, with surprises throughout that tickled my funny bone. I've recently discovered it also makes a good gift, warts and all, when I gave it to a friend of mine, a woman who has known me in both human and frog form. However, we still disagree on what category of frogs I fall under.
