Rating: Summary: Not Now...I'm Having a No Hair Day Review: Disappointed. I found more laughter in my own personal experience with cancer treatment and hair loss than I found in these pages. I laughed out loud once. I expected more.In contrast I found another book: No More Bad Hair Days to be very wise AND very funny. Just the ticket!

Rating: Summary: Made my mom smile Review: I gave this to my mom, she laughed and was able to identify with the book. I read it too and enjoyed it. I think it depends on where you are in your treatment. If you need to laugh and are around others who won't or don't know how too, then this is a refreshing book. Sometimes when familes are dealing with this disease, they are afraid to laugh. And to see my mom smile, during a time when she knew what the outcome was, well it made all the difference in the world. It is a short book.
Rating: Summary: Not worth it. Review: I read this book in about 15 minutes. While there were some humorous illustrations it was not a worthwhile read. I bought this book hoping it would help me through my situation, maybe my expectations were too high.
Rating: Summary: Very funny, yet frank depiction of hair loss Review: Ms. Clifford captures the humor of the highly emotional experience of being treated for cancer. She focuses mostly on hair loss (hence the title), but also on radiation and chemo. Laughter is great medicine, so I suggest you add this book to the treatment regimine of any woman going through cancer treatment.

Rating: Summary: This book helped me put things into perspective. Review: This book came into my life 1/2 way through my treatment program, at a time when everything was bottoming out. It helped me to "lighten up" and treat my challenges as opportunities instead of obstacles and even take time to find humor when I should!
Rating: Summary: This book was great and I would share it with others! Review: This book was in my car for several weeks after someone gave it to me before I picked it up. When I finally did sit down to read it, I couldn't put it down. I could relate to just about every page in it. I felt, here was someone else who had experienced all that I had, but like me, wanted to find the silver-linings, not just all the pain of experiencing cancer. Once I became comfortable with me, I tossed my wigs and hats and made the world deal with me as I am. It was a good feeling to be able to laugh about all that I have experienced. Although I read it late in my treatment, it was good therapy.
