Summary: Very Helpful Book
Review: I heard about this book from a few people and decided to get it finally. The book is witty and very informative and helpful. I definitely couldn't put it down and laughed appreciatively the whole way through. Its advice has stayed with me long after I read it and I use its principles all the time now. Only a few books would I say are worth more than the cover price and this is one of them.

Review: I heard the author on Howard Stern a couple of weeks ago (the day that Ashton Kutcher was on) Fischbarg made a lot of sense and he was pretty funny. Howard must really like this book, it's the second time he's raved about it! On Howard's suggestion I bought the book ...Gotta say, this is one of the funniest books I've ever read. I was also SHOCKED when I went down the street to a coffee bar and started talking to girls I would have never talked to before. I felt like Brad Pitt..My "friends" who say I look like Screech from Saved by the Bell...can't believe it, ...thanks Howard!

Review: I just bought this book and I love it. A good book on "how to" books to pick up women. It's simple, honest and the author did his research. This book is one of the best books I've read on the subject. There's a lot us guys can learn in this book. The title is accurate. This book is a must have. A great investment.

Summary: INCREDIBLE REALISTIC ADVICE
Review: I just finished with this book and it truly has had such an impact on my perception of the dating world!!! It gave me more confidence, and taught me great ways to approach women (that would normally be intimidating). Seriously buy this book, it will help you to improve your communciation skills with women and it is very encouraging. THANK YOU TO THE AUTHOR. I feel so much more comfortable interacting with women after reading this book. THANKS!!

Summary: Holds up after another read
Review: I just reread this book after using its techniques for a while. I have to admit all the techniques work and the book still holds up.

I was moving my home and had to go through my bookshelf to throw away a lot of books. This book I kept after re-reading it. I will probably keep it forever - until I get married. Then I'll give it to my single friends. I can't lend it to any of them now because I'll never get it back.

Summary: Stay away from this book
Review: I only read little of the this book while at a bookstore. But, I read some advice that is completely wrong. So, I would not trust any advice this book gives.

The author instructs guys to not dance with a woman they are interested in if possible. I know with experience that this advice is wrong.

Summary: Unintentionally hilarious
Review: I picked this book up in an airport after a night of being constantly and unsuccessfully hit on by cheesy guys. I laughed the whole way home at the authors suggestions for picking up girls. Most of the techniques he describes remind me of the techniques of the lame dudes my friends and I are constantly brushing off.

Here are some golden nuggets from the book:

If you are hitting on a girl (called "laying your rap") and she doesn't like you, it has nothing to do with you- it is because she "has her switch off" (has a boyfriend, is a lesbian, etc). Uh, ok.

If you see a girl walking, don't stop her and start your "rap". Instead "follow her as she moves" and wait for her to stop. Yeah, there's just something about a dude who follows me around as I'm walking that makes me want to hook up with him!

If a fight breaks between you and some other guy over a girl: "You should view those nights as a fun challenge..."

"A girl usually wil not lie about whether she has a boyfriend. Having a boyfriend is so important to a girl that it takes precedence over about everything else and is not something for her to lie about. If she does lie, she knows it could jinx her relationship with the boyfriend". Ha! Come on now, we all know girls lie all the time about having a boyfriend to get rid of scumbags who are hitting on us.

Here is a sample of opening lines to use (say this stuff out loud for full effect:

"Look at you, all dressed up from work"

"Look at you guys, on a girls' night out"
"Look at you, with your pretty party dress"
"I saw you at the bathroom. Always long lines for the girls"
"I'll buy you any drink you want because tonight is your night"

There is much, much more! Such as a section on how important alcohol is to your "rap". This stuff is priceless. Is there some good advice in here? Sure. But it is common sense, and buried deep among the other nonsense. (I can honestly say that the only good advice that isn't common sense is not dancing. Most guys can't do it without looking lame.) If taken seriously, this book can teach you how to be that drunk, creepy guy at the bar who is hitting on everyone. If you are lucky, you will be able to attract the drunkest, easiest, most desperate and unattractive girls.

The rating system does not really apply for this one. I give it a 4 or 5 for humor and gag-gift appeal; 1 for information. Read it, you will not be sorry!

Summary: Interesting Stuff Gabe- This'll Get You Guys Some Chickies
Review: I picked up this book at the local [store] and have to admit, as a woman, I was entertained and not offended. I also have to say that much of the techniques, learned obviously with years of experience, are creative. This is a book about picking up girls and getting through the hard part. It is not the male equivilent to the rules and does not teach manipulation and dishonesty. It probably will make both parties more comfortable with each other. For under ten bucks and about an hour of your time, I must admit, dating life and beyond should be vastly improved.
