Summary: ugh. . .
Review: There are some good points in this book,
1- Don't make man-hunting your life. of course the book then tells you to do the opposite but nevermind.
2-It's scientifically proven that if you click in the first few seconds you will maintain a connection.
3-Be Attractive. Flirt. Use what you got. Don't be shy.
4-Stop worrying about the "future" of the "relationship"
5-Go where men are.
6-Feel good about yourself.

Other than those points the book is complete jibberish and a waist of money. Her writing style is very silly and not worth your time. Sorry.

Summary: Excellent Book!
Review: This lady is a brillant writer. I periodically read her column in Elle magazine and have always enjoyed her style and enthusiasm. She always provides good sound advice. So when I heard she has a book, I quickly rushed to the bookstore to pick up a copy.

This book is very fun to read and keeps you very hopeful of the chance to Mr. Right. It is also a good book for those of you who have recently ended relationships as well. She will tell you on a week by week basis what you need to do to prepare yourself for Mr. Right. It is one of the best relationship books I have read to date!

She not only provides you advice on men. She also gives you tidbits of beauty, sleep, nutrition tips as well.

Go out and buy this book. You are sure to enjoy it.

Summary: To Wit (and Wisdom)
Review: Truly hilarious, E. Jean gives sound-not coddling or pussy-footed-advice. And, unlike most books that deal with this topic, she's got a command of the language that makes you crack up while reading every other sentence (and the ones in between). This girl can write!

Her instructions are simple to follow, yet they make up a plan that's extremely well-organized and suprisingly successful (this reader used to hide behind the plant in the corner...but E. Jean changed that). Just like in her ELLE columns, there are bullets, numbers, step-by-step get-your-man, no-hold-barred lists.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the women of the world need serious dating help. It does, however, take a genius to help them. Here's where E. Jean comes in. She doesn't sugar coat her words, she studs them in multi-colored rhinestones. And not only do they sparkle, they work!

Summary: Don't Buy This Book
Review: What a dreadful waste of my hard-earned money. The worst dating book I've ever read. Instead buy Find a Husband After 35 Using What I Learned at Harvard Business School by Rachel Greenwald, Surrendered Single by Laura Doyle, and Master Dating by Felicia Rose Adler. Those are a MUCH better use of your money! Mazel tov!

Summary: Be yourself, play the role of Snow White?
Review: Yea, I know I'm not part of the intended audience for this book, but there aren't books like this for us guys, and so if you want to be found you're stuck plowing through this sad genre looking for clues as to what the other side is doing.

Well, the first thing you'll notice about this book is that it's not clear from the way the author writes whether you're supposed to take her seriously or whether you're just supposed to sit back in amazement and admire her for her sassy, "breezy", hipper-than-thow style, which is so over-worn these days that I couldn't get past the first couple dozen pages. It's almost barf-inducing.

Assuming the author does intend to be taken seriously -- she has a Plan after all, and lot's of the usual do's and don'ts -- what I read made it sound like she's totally schizo. "Just be yourself" messages are mixed shortly thereafter with advice to be just like Snow White. You're supposed to go after the love-at-first-sight-dizzy-in-love heights, but also act like you don't care at all (this allegedly attracts men like crazy). It doesn't make any sense at all, and her general attitude towards men is so negative it makes me wonder what she wants with one anyway.
