Summary: Healthy?
Review: I bought this book thinking that it would provide low fat recipes. I found only a few that were below 20 grams of fat! If you are looking for a lowfat cookbook, I don't suggest this one.

Summary: YUMMY!
Review: I followed the Choose to lose program for men and have lost 3 pants sizes and feel better than I have in years. My gut isnt hanging over my belt anymore..I dont use scales anymore...Anyhow this book was a big part of my success. As a previous fatty, I loved to eat as most fat people do and most low-fat cookbooks have recipes for stuff that tastes like cardboard or plastic..and such puny portions that your stomach tries to digest your backbone for nurishment. This book has great recipes that actually taste really really good and you WILL lose weight and feel a heck of a lot better after awhile. A great book.

Review: I have been compelled to write a review for any book- until now!

I love this cookbook! The recipes are interesting and flavorful. The ones I have made have been fairly simple. Some do require some specialty ingredients, but they are used in many different recipes so they seemed worth having on hand. This is the only cookbook I keep on my counter.

Summary: Yes, this is healthy
Review: The first online review is wrong about the fat content of the recipes. At the bottom of each recipe the calorie content is described. The recipes are mostly under 50 or 60 fat calories per serving. NOT FAT GRAMS. With 9 or 10 fat calories per gram that is only 5 or 6 grams of fat per serving. This is a healthy and helpful cookbook. Please diregard the earlier review
