Summary: Best Low Carb Cookbook there is!
Review: (...)I think the bake mix recipes are worth the book. I (and my non-low carb family) also love the peanut butter cupcakes, peanut butter cookies, cinnamon coffee cake, catsup, almond biscotti, OIAB, I could just go on and on. I have a bunch of low carb cookbooks, and this one is the best.

Summary: Truly Low Carb Cooking
Review: All I can say is thank you Karen. I've flirted with low carb for a while off and on, but never found it easy to do much other than plain meat and salad. Have other low carb cookbooks, but Truly Low Carb Cooking is like a book of family recipes - all easy to read, easy to follow, and easy to get ingredients for. I think I'm gonna have to laminate the pages because they're read and used so often, they're gonna get worn out and spattered! This is a MUST HAVE for all low carbers.

Summary: Most wonderful Low Carb cookbook available
Review: All I can say is that I highly recommend this book to anyone on the Low Carb way of eating. It is a must have - with great tasting, easy to follow recipes. The book opens many possibilities with just the bake mix alone and even the inexperienced cook will find these various recipes and fabulous fakes easy to follow with great results. I have heard many people say that they couldn't possibly succeed on this way of eating because it is so boring and restrictive. Let me tell you - once you have seen and tried some of those recipes you will never think of this way of eating as boring again !

Summary: "A MUST HAVE for anyone on low carb or considering it"
Review: Cooking TLC is like a kitchen "bible" for anyone considering or currently eating a low carb way of life. If you are considering eating low carb and think "you will miss" certain items and are unsure you could stick with it, this will put things into perspective, you won't miss out on sweets or breads. She also has a Green Chili recipe for a main dish that is great! The Peanut Nirvana is a favorite with me. Also a vanilla nut muffin for a breakfast on the run. This will be money well spent!! I had only bought 2 other low carb books before this and never cooked anything from them - there was nothing new - here you will find something for the entire family, I am the only one on low carb with a husband and two children, and they enjoy it too!

Summary: Nothing special
Review: Every single recipe that I have tried Karen's cookbook has tasted incredible. I live in Calif, so many of the products she calls for are readily available to me at health food stores and grocery stores. If not, I find them on line at some carb link. I always "re-calculate the carbs" for my own peace of mind, but I found all the recipes could be adjusted by sizing down. I swear the Mock-a-Ronie & Cheese is almost worth the price of the book itself. Karen's book is my next favorite cookbook. My first is Low Carb Cooking by Fran McCollough. Karen is me at home... Fran is me at work. Casual vs professionsl. Both are excellent for content.

Summary: Not worth the price
Review: First book I've ever returned to [...]. Similiar to cookbooks that school fundraisers put together, but at [...] price tag there are better options out there. I've bought lots of cookbooks, usually only make a handful of recipes from them but love to look. This one was visually boring and the recipes required ingredients that were not always easy to find in my Midwest town. A disappointment.

Summary: Great cookbook!
Review: From chocolate cake to catsup, this book won't disappoint you. I (and my non low-carb family) love the peanut butter cupcakes and cookies, cinnamon coffee cake, almond biscotti--I could go on and on. I have two bookshelves full of low carb cookbooks, but this is the one, folks!

Summary: The very best Low Carb Cookbook on the market
Review: I absolutely love this cookbook. The recipes are easy and fast to make and they taste fantastic!!! I use this cookbook daily and love trying all the variations provided. My favorites are the Nirvana, Cheese Pots and Meaty Chili. I have made these dishes for my non-lc friends and they did not even know the difference. This cookbook is a definite "MUST" for anyone on a low carb lifestyle.

Summary: The best cook book I've ever owned!
Review: I always figure that a cookbook has been worth the price if I can get 1 or 2 good recipes from it. So, with that in mind, Cooking TLC has been a goldmine for me! I haven't found a bad recipe yet. All of the recipes are foods that you and your family would eat. No weird stuff that everyone would turn their noses up at. Besides Karen's great recipes, she has given me many ideas to help me convert many of our own family favorites to low carb. Lots of Karen's recipes are induction friendly.
I've found Karen's nutritional information to be very accurate and any variances have been due to different brands of ingredients.
