I'm a professional dancer and train very hard, and have been on under 1200 calories a day, which should have been the solution, given my exercise level. Read the book, think about how it's different from what you've done before, and just think: "I can't stand being fat anymore, but I CAN stand to try a program for 30 days." At the end of 30 days, if you don't cheat, you'll be well on your way to a new quality of life. No kidding.
