I especially appreciate it that the recipes are very easy to prepare, all the ones I've tried used ingredients I already had in the kitchen, they're eye-pleasing on the plate -- and best yet -- every one's a winner, simply delicious! Sometimes it is confusing to work a *plan* into your daily diet (if that makes sense)... even if you understand the concept. This book was very helpful in making recipes that were very good, easy...and within this plan. I didnt have any difficulty finding ingredients for the recipes and i am really enjoying some of them alot. If you bought the original book this cookbook would make staying with the plan easier as you dont have to come up with your own recipes...or *re-do* ones you have... very good book!

Rating: Summary: not so great Review: I got this book on accident ( I thought I was ordering the Schwarzbein Principle), but since I had it, I thought I would go through it. The recipes weren't very creative and the book contained no pictures (something I think to be important in cookbooks). For a good cookbook, look elsewhere...
Rating: Summary: Every Recipe is DELICIOUS Review: I have a vast collection of cookbooks and this one is the one I have returned to time and again. Every recipe is delicious and quick to prepare. This cookbook is perfect for any lowcarb regime. I have lost 26 pounds in three months using this book.
Rating: Summary: I Never Knew Dieting Could Taste So Good Review: I never knew that dieting could taste so good. This wonderful, easy to use cookbook is filled with luscious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I especially love the salads and sald dressings. I can find all the ingredients where I shop, the recipes are time efficient and though I've never eaten better in my life, I've lost 10 pounds in one month. I like eating real food, none of this no fat, low fat, man made stuff that I see lots my friends eating while they get fatter. This is a diet for life for me. Way to go. Food for the New Millennium!
Rating: Summary: Where's the Desserts? Review: I purchased this book for use on the Atkins diet. I looked forward to recieving the book with great anticipation. When it arrived I immediately went to the index to look up desserts--I was mortified to find them missing--surely my copy must be a misprint--the publishers must have forgotten to include this chapter--no cookbook is complete without desserts. (If you are on the Atkins program and are looking for desserts I highly recommend "Sugar-Free Cooking with Stevia" by James & Tanya Kirkland ISBN 1 928906 11 7.)
