Summary: The best diet book around( the only one which really works)
Review: Aajonus's first book was a little too New-Agey for my tastes. This, his 2nd book, is however OUTSTANDING. It contains numerous references to various scientific studies and reports, which I have seen referred to in New Scientist magazine among other sources. The previous book neglected this aspect to a certain extent.
The beginning and end of the book deal with the theory behind the diet, while the middle part deals with recipes and the like.
All in all, I have to say, that I have tried numerous other diets out there(Vegetarianism, Raw Vegan, Hay Diet, Atkins, "balanced diet" etc.) but the Primal Diet is the only diet which actually restored my health. This book is a must-read for anyone who is interested in improving their energy levels or in curing their health problems.

Summary: For those committed to Health
Review: Great information on the benefits of a raw diet that is not vegetarian. I have included many of the sugestions in this book to my daily life with great benefits. This is not a diet, but a completely different perspective on health. I gave up everything about food I loved: the indulgence, the satisfaction, the pleasure. For me food has become all about investing in longevity and quality of life. This is only for the truly committed. For those familiar with the Paleolithic Diet, this author is a great source of pertinent information.

Summary: Excellent follow up to "We Want to Live"
Review: I have reviewed the dietary philosophy of this author and my experience with it previously, see my review under "We Want to Live", which you may want to read before this one.

"The Recipe for Living Without Disease" is a great complement to his first book in that it is much more practical, with lots of great recipes and tips, in addition to fascinating information on personal health.
