Summary: Go Striaght to the source
Review: I have read this book, but I have also read the swarzbein principal, (the book this one was based on) and I deem it to be better. My whole family has gotten thinner on the swarzbein principal from my cooking, even my kids have gotten skinnier. I think Suzanne Somers did a great job, but Diana Swarzbein is a doctor. My advice to you all is to go straight to the source, Diana Swarzbein wrote a great book, and the world would look great if they read it!

Summary: Its Great to be Minnie Me!
Review: I was turned onto this fantastic book by a neighbour that lost 25 pounds and looks fantastic. Bought the book, read it immediately in Sept.1999, within 3 weeks my husband and I both lost 10-15lbs to prepare for our trip to Maui. We have both had so many compliments on how great we look and have told alot of people about how easy it is to eat great, never be hungry and watch the weight fall off. Our favourites are the Egg Muffins and Hot Bacon Dressing Spinach Salad. My husbands loves that fact that he can eat bacon and eggs with some tomatoe on the side and not feel guilty. I have two friends that have just started the diet and they are really excited! I don't think I will ever be overweight again. Size 3 Jeans! Thank you Suzanne!

Summary: Sommersizing with Blood Type Diet
Review: I really like the food combining program Suzanne has given us. I also have read the Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type book and combined the two. I'm O positive, and am advised according to Blood Type that I should not have dairy or wheat products. I follow Sommersizing and found it worked pretty well, but the weight came off very slowly. I am 5'5" and weigh 165lbs. Even the Atkins didn't give me much of any weight loss. Sommersizing is the best combined with the Blood Type Diet. For breakfast I usually have brown rice with rice milk and decaf coffee. If I have an egg, I don't have sausage or any kind of pork because that is prohibited for my blood type too. Also, no cheese except feta. I had to come up with good foods to eat which was no problem. Thankfully, I can say after one week of eating like this I've lost about 2 to 3 pounds!

I recommend to any one who is feeling like the weight isn't coming off to also read the Blood Type Book and combine the two. You'll be amazed what results you'll get!

Summary: Pleased
Review: I have been somersizing since July, 99. I have lost about 10 pds. I would like to lose more. I have been following the diet pretty faithfully. Is anyone else losing weight this slowly. I feel great and love eating this way, but I wish the weight would come off faster. Any suggestions?

Summary: Great Book, Easy Program
Review: Suzanne has done it again! This book offers an easy food combining program in an easy to read book. It's a fun book to read given Suzanne's wonderful style of writing. However, this book is a recap of her previous book, "Eat Great, Lose Weight" and I recommend that if are considering buying this book, that you buy both books for a more comprehensive look at this program. Enjoy!

Summary: I've turned so many people onto this diet
Review: I have converted at least 15 people into doing this diet. Suzanne should give me a commission. I lost my goal of 15 pounds and have had no problem keeping it off. Because of my success, many coworkers are Somercising and everyone is fading away. It's wonderful!

Summary: Suzanne Somers' Get Skinny on Fabulous Food
Review: This plan is absolutely wonderful. Food is good again! I love eating fresh, natural food -- not the processed, low-fat junk. I feel healthier and am eating more vegetables than ever. I've heard concerns from others about the lack of carbs in the plan, however, I eat more whole wheat bread and cereal now than I did before. I also weigh less now than I ever have in my adult life. My mother had a mild heart attack in April 1999; she is overweight and her cholesterol was pretty high. I finally convinced her to go on this plan and she not only lost weight, but her cholesterol is normal. In fact, it went below normal and she had to stop taking cholesterol medicine. With all the fat she was eating, her cholesterol level eventually went up to normal and stayed there after ceasing the medicine intake. In other words, your cholesterol will not go up on this plan! I have also found cheating to be a joy and guilt free; I stay on level one and cheat once or twice a week without any problems. Suzanne Somers makes the book very easy to read and motivates one to make this a way of eating for life. The plan works, it is very easy to learn the food combining, and being thin feels great!

Review: In a work environment where keeping in shape often determines how far you go, Suzanne Somers offers one of the most comprehensive programs for losing weight, looking great, and feeling amazing too! Her book has helped me to achieve goals, I didn't even think possible. -- Me, who is a skeptic of diet schemes, and fads, am here to say that "Get Skinny On Fabulous Food" works because it teaches you to use whole foods in your Somersizing enedaevor. Combining the right foods, eliminating processed foods loaded with fake chemicals, utilizing Suzanne's fabulous recipes, and exercising will literally turn you into a well-oiled-machine! My hat is off to Suzanne Somers....This Millenium, everyone should own "Get Skinny On Fabulous Food."

Summary: It really works!
Review: Get Skinny on Fabulous Food really works! In the past I had always been able to lose weight when I tried. But after the birth of my son it wouldn't come off. I bought the book in May but didn't start until 9/13/99. As of 12/9/99 I have lost 32 pounds. Other than being a full time mom to a 21 month old I have not exercised. I have 14 lbs. to go. After trying the recipes you can make up your own after having the basic premise. It is truly a great book. Also I don't have mood high and lows that sugar brings on. I have plenty of energy and feel great!
