Summary: Well written and convincing, but not very feasible.
Review: I have seen this diet work well for a friend of mine. In fact, I lost 4 pounds the first week using her plan. However, I found the plan almost impossible to follow when traveling. Imagine never being able to eat a sandwich with meat! I found that I had to cook almost every meal. I love to cook, but that was too much. I think I'll stick with Weight Watchers.

Summary: way of life
Review: Hallelujah! No more counting calories, feeling hungry, deprived, or depressed about my body! It is a way of life and I am so happy! Only people who have a "food" thing going on will understand why this is such a wonderful discovery! I have been dieting since 7th grade.

Summary: SORRY TO BE A BUMMER-
Review: I bought her last book and really this "new" book is almost exactly the same, give or take a few recipes. You may just want to keep the first book and save your cash. Also, I was really disappointed that Suzanne didn't try to add some quick and easy recipes for those of us who don't have a grill on our deck and the luxury of time to prepare. I know that her plan works, but its restrictions are maddening and her recipes are awfully elaborate for the average person. Especially giving up carrots and caffeine! Ouch! How do we know that this isn't just a FAD? Sorry to be the skeptic, but really!

Summary: Suzanne Sommers' Sommersize plan is a blessing.
Review: My sister told me about this book and my husband and I got a copy. We have been on the plan a little over six weeks and love it. I went from 142 lbs. to 128. My cholesterol was 275 and after being on this plan, it's now 185. Praise God for Suzanne's plan. I should be able to stop taking cholesterol medication soon. My husband has lost 5+ inches in his waist and feels better than ever. We have tried many "diets", but making this lifestyle change is the one we will remain on.

Summary: AWESOME
Review: I've only skimmed this book and plan on buying it, but the techniques and way you just eat is so simple and fun and you don't have to worry about counting much or exactly how you eat it...and unlike the Atkins Diet you can have fruit and breads...which excites me more than anything...I look forward to getting this book and trying it...it sounds terriffic...thanks suzanne!

Summary: Great Book
Review: I liked this book. My friend lost 8 lbs in 6 weeks. I started a few days ago. It kind of all makes sense. I want to loose 10 lbs. I like the way the book is organized. Sugar is my enemy and I hope to get over my addiction.

Summary: Very interesting but confusing
Review: I bought this book immediately after watching Ms. Somers on the Larry King Live show. It's a neat book, but I'm having a very hard time integrating my mostly vegan diet and my soy liquids I must drink instead of dairy products. Ms. Somers does not offer suggestions how to work around these hurdles. Most of her recipes are expensive and it's difficult to procure some of the ingredients here in the midwest. Instead of losing weight, I've gained two pounds!

Summary: fabulous idea!
Review: After three weeks of "somersizing", I'm convinced this is the way to live life and eat! I even have my husband asking me "can I eat this with this"--which is wonderful that he's taking an active interest in his health. I'm so excited about this, but my main question...can this style of eating be just as beneficial for a 2 & 4 year old? I'd love to hear any doctor's viewpoint on this one. thanks

Summary: I 'M A BELIEVER!! THIS PLAN REALLY DOES WORK!!
Review: I was a somewhat leary of Suzanne's eating plan but the receipes looked great so 7 weeks ago I started it. The weight loss was very slow in the beginning (1 lb. maybe 2 lb. every couple of weeks) but the food was so delicious I never felt hungry or deprived. I decided that I could eat this way forever and would be content just to "maintain" and not gain any more. I stopped weighing every week and just got busy with cooking all these wonderful meals for my family. I noticed my clothes were getting loose so I stepped on the scales yesterday and nearly shouted!! 13 lbs had literally "melted" off just like Suzanne said. To be honest, I was shocked because I felt like I was eating too much and made many mistakes along the way (like eating avacodos and nuts) until I realized they are Funky Foods. This plan works even if you don't stick to it 100%. I'll Somersize from here on in!

Summary: Need Help
Review: I think this diet sounds great, but I can't seem to stick to it. The thing is I'm not a big veggie eater. The veggies I do like are okra and squash and I need them breaded when I eat them. I know people probably are saying you just haven't given yourself a chance, but believe me I have been trying all kinds of new veggies. I still don't have a taste for them. My problem is that there is not much I can eat at a meal because I'm tired of salad with everything. I'm constantly depressed because I've been struggling with losing 15-20 pounds since I gave birth years ago. I've tried everything. I do aerobics and I've been running a little with my husband, but that just isn't enough. Please can someone help me out and give me some suggestions for somersizing!
