Rating: Summary: If you watched Three's Company, you already know enough Review: How anyone can believe this amazes me, but that is the mentality of those who will watch the shopping channel and think Suzanne Somers has some magical potion. Let these people review the book a year after reading it and we'll see if they still like it.

I can't believe I can eat so much food and not feel guilty anymore. I can't believe it can really be this simple! Rating: Summary: It worked only after 3 days Review: We are totally excited only after 3 days of being on this diet my husband, 17yr. old son and I are all on it. We have been living in Mexico for 2and a half yrs. and all have gained weight on the delicious mexican foods that we are exposed to. We have tried the zone diet and it does works only if you like eating so much protien which I don't and weighing your food was just a little much for me plus it was confusing as well. I have been trying hard to make her recipies and it is alot of work but it is worth it.My only problems are it is alittle difficult finding alot of the ingredients here and I am limited when it comes to making my sons lunches for school the lettuce always becomes soggy and does not taste as good as if he were to eat it fresh and the school does not provide really anything that he can eat. What shall I do any suggestions will be helpful. Excited in Mexico.
Rating: Summary: A valuable guide and it works Review: It's an excellent book and the recipes are delicious. Best of all the concept works. This is also a very realistic approach toward weight loss, and one of the best books on dieting. Another book that has helped me tremendously to accept myself, even if I don't loose too much weight, or if I feel overweight, and it's a book that really boosted my self-esteem and self-worth is Dietmar Scherf's "I Love Me: Avoiding and Overcoming Depression"--also available at Amazon.
Rating: Summary: An incredibly effective book, both inspirational and true. Review: As a teenager, I couldn't be happier with the results I got from Somersizing my food. I had always been overweight throughout my entire adolescence. I finally found a book which is unbelievably effective for my personal health. And because of the energy that came from this diet, I have been more active in school than ever before. Also, my self-esteem blossomed and I am more sociable now. My life has taken a complete turnaround. Now, my future seems brighter. All this because of Suzanne's book.
Rating: Summary: A Converted Skeptic! Review: After having been told about Somersizing by my sister-in-law, who lost 40 lbs 3 yrs ago and has kept it off, I was skeptical. We are forever being warned away from fad diets -- and for good reason. This, however, is different.You are urged to eat healthful foods in the proper combinations. Don't let that scare you away. After referring to the book for guidence for the first week or so, I find it has now become second nature to eat foods the right way. For those who say it is too difficult, it is another sign that some hope to find an easy fix with no effort. I whole heartedly endorse this way of eating. After 3 weeks I have lost 9 lbs and my husband has lost 14 (and he did not need to diet!).
Rating: Summary: Great diet plan, but Suzanne didn't create it.. Review: There is a diet in Europe called the "Trennkost Diat" (in German) which has been around for years. I think Suzanne just modeled her book after it. It has the exact same combinations and ideas, except it allowed caffeine (all Europeans drink coffee!). I personally do not think drinking caffeine will alter this diet..but eating the fattest salad dressings there are might! Don't go overboard with eating fat, I still get light dressings, and I eat veggie burgers and veggie bacon too. It's not healthy to down the red meat all the time, just be sensible about it. If you feel you are having a problem losing weight..skip the pasta altogether. Whole wheat pasta is not significantly less in carbs, calories, or sugars then regular.
