This book breaks it down for you so you can finally understand how foods react when you digest them. No measuring and no counting which is the best. I ordered this book a month ago and I have lost 21.5 pounds in 4 weeks. I've tried other programs and have had great results but not like this. I'm amazed when I step on the scales and actually look forward to weighing myself. I would and am recommending this book to everyone. My copy of the book is being passed around to family and friends as I'm writing this review. Please try it. It's soooo easy. Thank you Suzanne and God Bless!!

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It works for me -- eating out or in. Review: I started this diet (my second ever!) at the end of June. I then weighed 153, the same as at the end of my first pregnancy; I knew I had to do something! A week later my son had an accident and was in the ICU, and I lived at the hospital for the next 3 weeks. I found I could even do this method in the hospital cafeteria: salad bar items, chicken caesar salads, sloppy joes with no bun, omelets, seafood with no potatoes. You can always ask for veggies in place of the potatoes, rice or bread, and sometimes you get them! At a sandwich bar, you can roll up ham and cheese in lettuce leaves. I lost 10 pounds in those 3 weeks of cafeteria food, and have now lost a total of 17! Cooking at home, I make chicken, burgers, spaghetti sauce with italian sausages, etc, plus veggies for all of us; for my kids I also serve appropriate funky carbos: rice, baked potatoes, buns, pasta etc. (No fussing over those, though) I do love Suzanne's grilled veggie towers and grilled artichokes!

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Unbelievable, incredibly delicious, easy way to lose weight. Review: Just started somersizing two weeks ago but already have lost 9 pounds. I purchased Suzanne's Eat Great, Lose Weight and was so impressed with it I was tempted to rush right out and buy the second book Get Skinny on Fabulous Food. However, I decided to give the food combining a try first. Well, not only do I love it but it truly works. This method defies traditional thinking and seems miraculous. The thing I dislike most about other "diets" is the work involved. Counting grams, calories, points, always having to keep track of something! But this is bliss, so easy to follow. I only developed a weight problem while going through an early menopause but have not been successful in losing and keeping the added pounds off. I'm 49 and am now 30 pounds over my desired weight. I'm hopeful this is the key.The recipes are healthy and delicious and I LOVE the fact I do not have to restrict oils and butter, especially in salad dressings and sauces. The Blue Cheese Vinaigrette is to die for. So a huge thank you to Suzanne for sharing her research and knowledge with the rest of us.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Didn't work for me Review: I stayed on this diet for over a month. It did not work for me. Can we really expect a diet to be healthy if we eat a lot of fat? I finally decided to use common sense and eat small portions of all food groups. That way I get the minerals and vitamins I need. And exercise is key. After ending this diet, I adjusted my eating schedule and portions and have lost the weight. And it all goes back to sensible eating - we know when we are eating foods high in fat and calories. Don't deny these foods, eat them every now and then to satisfy your cravings. Don't eat late at night. Exercise at least three times per week (I exercise at least 5 days per week). I have been addicted to food for a long time. I would eat when I'm happy, sad, bored, etc. In order for me to keep the weight off - a lifelong task, I must realize what the problem is (why I eat) instead of what I eat.

The variety of recipe's and combinations will allow me to expand the way I already cook. A new man in my life, I'm a widow, has led me to seek an expanded viewpoint. Thanx! ! !
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Food Combining Review: Food combining has been around for a long time and althought there is no real scientific data to support it, I think the concept of not eating proteins and carbs is a sensible one, I tried the book "Fit for Life" but found it far too restrictive in it's food combining philosophy. I also found that I had to restrict my Carbs a lot to loose weight. To the person who doesn't know what Lavash bread is : it's an Arabic flatbread, which can be found at Middle-eastern stores, and some large Supermarkets
