Summary: Concise, interesting, and so easy to follow.
Review: Six months after becoming a Montignac Maniac, I've lost 25 lbs, feel like I'm 14 instead of 44, and am hardly ever hungry. The book changed my life; rather, it confirmed what I'd always suspected: that sugar is the real problem for those of us who've managed to stay chubby on No-Fat and Low-Cal diets. Merci beaucoup, monsieur!

Summary: Reasonably easy and very successful
Review: Well, I tried this diet on a suggestion from a friend. For the last several years, I hovered around 215-225 lbs. At last year's checkup, I was 223 lbs., with a cholesterol count of 230, and triglycerides of 400. After using his method for several months, at my checkup last month, I was down to 196 lbs., cholesterol at 200, and triglycerides at 140. Pretty good, don't you think? I actually look at this not so much as a diet to follow strictly (because I wouldn't anyway... let's face it), but as information about the way my body processes food that I wasn't aware of. Now that I'm aware of it, the way in which I eat has changed, and it's working. I'm still losing around 1 lb. per week. I don't do this at every meal religiously, and I "cheat" sometimes, but I understand the concepts, I use them for the vast majority of the time, and they work. Perhaps the best recommendation I could give is that if it were difficult to do, I wouldn't have been successful. Really.

Summary: A stomach-full way to feel great and loose weight
Review: My doctor suggested that I read the book to reduce my cholesterol. After a little bit of reflexion, I decided why not! I use to have high and low levels of energy. I was in reasonably good shape but I had an extra 10 to 15 pounds that I could never rid of (at least that's what I thought). I have found his method to be an extraordinary source of energy. Since I have adopted his method I have a constant level of energy!! No more peaks and valleys. I have no more cravings, no more difficulty to breathe after certain meals. I have miraculously lost my excess weight and I feel great. I haven't passed the final test yet, but I am sure that I have lowered my cholesterol level without having to sacrifice a full stomach.

Summary: Loosing weight while having fun
Review: Hello!

A few years ago, the Montignac method was only available in French. Now, you can read "Eat Yoursel slim" all over the world... I like this method. It's easy and it worked for all the people I know. I have also subscribed to the virtual consultations which are an interesting extension of the book:

The 12 steps are very instructive and the weekly follow-up makes the diet very motivating!

Summary: The best yet.
Review: After having seen mr Montignac succeed in Europe like no one else before him, I decided to follow his method after reading the recent US edition of his book. I lost twelve pounds in the first month without ever feeling hungry. Hey, if it's good enough for the Queens of Britain and Holland, it must also be good for me! As far as I can tell, this USA paperback version has been his best and most complete edition to date. I highly recommend it to everyone who refuses to give up on delicious meals while losing those extra pounds. Can't wait for his books on chocolate and wine!

Summary: SUGAR BUSTERS ala Francais
Review: This book supports and supplements the information I read and followed in SUGARBUSTERS. It's always good to get more information from different sources. By following an approach using advice from both books, I've lost 18 pounds in 3 months without increasing exercise. This is a great way to eat well while losing weight.

Summary: Food for tought - won't hurt to try
Review: I have studied the method, and related ones, like Sugar Busters, for some time now and posted my findings on the internet: members.xoom.com/marcel_bovy/montignac/index.html Briefly, my conclusions are that the method probably works for other, or at least more, reasons than the author proposes. Nevertheless it is an interesting hypothesis that merits further research, as well as trial by people wanting to lose weight. Unlike many other miracle diets the method does not exclude whole food groups, so you can still eat according to all the official diet guide lines.

Summary: A great guide to eating healthy and delicious food
Review: I have been losing weight continuously since I started using the Montignac method. The method strongly discourages starving, while it advocates eating wholesome food - and enjoying it! While it does take some time to plan your meals for the day, the method is easy to follow. But it is much more than a weight loss method. The eating pattern advocated in the book is great for lowering the risk of heart disease and type II diabetes. And while it introduces the reader to the whole world of food that is both nutritious and delicious, the book helps one develop a healthier relationship with food. I could go on about the virtues of this book, but I shall stop at saying that I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: It really works!
Review: I have read the Dutch version of this book, and been following the Montignac diet on and off for about 1 year. Using the Montignac diet, I lost about 15 pounds in about 4 months. Now, I usually follow Montignac during the week, and then eat what I want on the weekends, and I've remained at the same weight without really having to worry about what I eat. With the Montignac diet, you feel satisfied and never really over-full. I would definitely recommend this diet to anyone who's been yo-yo dieting. I did not believe that this diet would work, but IT REALLY DOES! And the recipes are actually really good. From Montignac, I've learned that not all meals have to be low fat to lose weight.

Summary: Excellent weight loss method that works!
Review: Montignac takes an approach that's different and sound to weight loss. Through good eating habits and food combinations, you will be able to lower your weight to its optimim level.

Well written, simple to understand, easy to follow. Highly recommended to all.
