Rating: Summary: I expected a lot more... Review: I got this cookbook not because I'm in Weight Watchers, but I enjoy healthy eating. Some of the recipes sound interesting enough, but aren't "everyday" fare. There are a lot of recipes that require one to live in a good-sized city to have access to the ingredients (oysters, lobster, arborio rice, wild mushrooms, different cheeses, semolina flour, creme fraiche, demi-glace sauce.) None of the recipes really seem kid-friendly, or low-fat versions of tried-and-true favorites. The dessert section doesn't have anything in it that hasn't already been covered by one of the other WW cookbooks. I greatly prefer Simply the Best and The Best of WW Magazine Cookbook to this one.
Rating: Summary: This is a great addition to my collection Review: I just had company for dinner last night and served the Gremolata-Stuffed Chicken Breasts with Tomato Relish to rave reviews! Every recipe I've tried so far has been great!

Rating: Summary: Read it today and ready to go... Review: I just read this book today, spending three hours browsing though it. I appreciate being able to bring delicious, beautiful food to the table. I too have been a Weight Watchers member and I have the New Complete Cookbook as well. The recipes seem easy to make with ingredients found easily in most groceries. Most stores are coming up to date with new products to accomate America's new "gormet at home" cooks. I am so impressed with the content of this book and I can't wait to get started. My mouth is watering...I must go cook!
Rating: Summary: Finally - WW for those who love to cook Review: I knew that teaming up with the CIA must be a good sign, and it is. The Bolivian Beef Stew is the best beef stew I've ever made. Baked Figs are scrumptious. Delicious muffins. I'm working my way through the book, and have made about 30 recipes. Not all are worth making again, but the winners more than make up for them.
Rating: Summary: My favorite Review: I liked Chapter 3...probably the most helpful guide to cooking that I've read.
Rating: Summary: Delicious, Healthy Food! Review: I LOVE this book! It is full of really delicious recipes, and all of them are relatively easy. I never thought I'd eat BETTER food while trying to get healthy!
Rating: Summary: Don't Waste Your Money Review: I own many Weight Watchers cookbooks and this one is the worst I have seen. It calls for unusual ingredients and I don't consider it for everyday cooking at all. This one is strictly for gourmets and cooking school students. The other WW cookbooks are much more useful. I am sorry I wasted my money.
Rating: Summary: Great Tasting Healthy Food Review: I started Weight Watchers a few weeks ago, and had a really hard time finding a way to make creative food and figure out how many points it was. This book made all of the difference. I have made about 25% of the recipes already and I LOVE IT. Everything tastes great. It is not complicated to make, and I am still able to prepare gourmet food for my family. Highly recommend for anyone, dieting or not.
Rating: Summary: Great Cooking But NOT everyday!!! Review: I'm a lousy cook, I admit, but this book will not help! Although the recipes I've made from this book were excellent, it is much too hard for a person looking for quick and easy recipes. Get this book AFTER you have tried some easier ones.
