Summary: Simple & delicious!
Review: As a parent of a child with dairy and nut allergies, I was eager to try out some of the recipes. They were creative, easy to follow and incredible tasty! There is no other book like it out there and I highly recommend it.

Summary: WHAT A LIFE-SAVER
Review: Hats off to Linda Coss. My nephew has life-threatening food allergies and this cookbook comes in handy when I make him his meals (giving his parents a break for a night off). The food is wonderful, even for someone who doesn't have these allergies. The public needs to be aware of the seriousness of food allergies and maybe this will open some folks' eyes. Yeah Ms. Coss!!

Summary: Thank you Thank you
Review: I am also a new mom with a severly allergenic child and I had no clue what to feed her. This book was an eye opener to all sorts of diffrent ways to prepare food for her and my husband as well that we can all enjoy it. My greatest thanks to you Linda for this book. I have learned also diffrent ways to prepare everyday normal foods by just experimenting with other ingredients that she can eat.
Thank you again... The Oatmeal cookies are DIVINE!!!!

Summary: Great cookbook; one suggestion regarding egg substitutions
Review: I bought this cookbook for my son who has a severe milk allergy. It's a great cookbook. The recipes are straightforward and easy to make. It IS a relief to own a cookbook in which every recipe is something your child can eat. Many of the recipes, particularly in the breads, cakes, and cookies sections of the book, use a specific mixture of ingredients as a substitute for eggs. Like many children, my son has a single allery (to milk) not a triple one. I think it would have been helpful to include the number of eggs That Ms. Coss was substituting for in her recipes (e. g., "this is a substitution for 3 eggs") so that people who do not have an egg allergy could add in the real thing. My son already lives with a very restrictive diet. No sense making things more restrictive than they already have to be.

Summary: Outstanding recipes!
Review: I had dinner last month at a friend's house; she has a child with food allergies, and had just purchased the cookbook. The whole meal was marvelous; I purchased the book even though no one in my family has food allergies.

Since then, we've made about ten of the recipes. So far, none of them have dissapointed the picky palates of this home.

Summary: A must have for moms and dads of allergic kids
Review: I have a daughter allergic to peanuts and a son allergic to egg. Many recipies I would find had either one or the other ingredient, so I was always making two different things. It was wonderful to find a cookbook that didn't use EITHER of those ingredients! So many of the other books I looked at spent a lot of the book telling about allergies (which I already know) but this one is all recipies! A MUST HAVE!

Summary: Thank Goodness for Linda Coss
Review: I have successfully tried many of these recipes and have been thrilled with the delicious results. Both allergic and non-allergic members of my family love these recipes. I highly recommend this book.

Summary: AH! Real food again!!
Review: I'm a mom of two kids with food allergies. Milk, Egg, and Nuts really only scratch the surface, but finding recipes for tasty meals without even these three is difficult. This cookbook has definently been worth the money I paid for it! There are some recipes that I won't be able to try due to the other allergies we are managing, but of the several that I have tried so far (and more planned!), ALL have been huge successes..including the two dishes I prepared for dinner tonight! Not only do the finished products taste, smell, and look wonderful, but most of the recipes require very little time in the kitchen. Since my children are both toddlers, this is a much welcomed bonus! My kids are the typical picky-eaters, as well, and they've begged for seconds and thirds of most everything I've cooked using this book. I find myself cooking out of this cookbook more and more. Every recipe I've tried has fueled my excitement about trying others found in this cookbook. I HIGHLY recommended this book for everyone, but especially those managing milk, egg, or nut allergies!

Summary: Great cookbook
Review: If you or someone in your family has a milk allergy, an egg allergy or a nut allergy or any combination, and you want to make safe and tasty food, this is your book.

I had severe food allergies (corn, wheat, rice, beef, many food additives) for years and the only way to get safe food was to cook everything myself.

This kind of cookbook is an invaluable aid.
