Summary: Love It!
Review: I joined Weight Watchers in June and have lost 52 lbs. since. I realize that since this has become a way of life, I need to learn how to cook to enjoy it. I have been able to use this cookbook to cook my daily meals and they are good. My husband really enjoyed to Chicken Enchiladas and the Maple Pumpkin Pie! The recipes are easy and can be prepared in 15 minutes or less and my 3 year old likes them! So, all in all, the cookbook is Simply the Best! If you are on the program, then this cookbook will make it worth the weight!

Summary: Great for the non-dieting partner
Review: I do all the cooking in our house (self-preservation) and my partner and my daughter are constantly dieting. Weight Watchers meals are great and I have no problem cooking and enjoying them. These are not your typical dreary diet meals.

Summary: Great Cookbook!
Review: This is a great cookbook, particularly if you don't have a lot of time or aren't a gourmet cook. The only drawback for me is that there aren't a lot of vegetarian meals. I have made minor revisions (taking out the chicken or turkey and adding more vegetables) and really enjoy the recipes. There is everything from quick and simple meals to elegant (but still simple!) recipes perfect for entertaining. I highly recommend this book unless you prefer exotic foods and/or cook often with tofu.

Summary: Simply The Best
Review: I have used many of the recipes in this cookbook and they are almost one for one outstanding. Best of all, my family loves them and they are not on diets. My husband especially loves the "Southwest Baked Chicken" recipe. The "twice backed potatoes" are really wonderful, as well. I recommend this book very highly to anyone that is on the Weight Watchers program or just wants to eat more healthily but deliciously!

Summary: SIMPLY THE BEST, even the third time around!
Review: A few years ago, during my second Weight Watching experience, I treated myself by ordering SIMPLY THE BEST, 250 PRIZEWINNING FAMILY RECIPES. It was a tremendous help with low fat/low calorie cooking, of which I knew little. Now in my third offical episode of Weight Watching, I find that I still use this version of SIMPLY THE BEST quite often. Our entire family (even those who do not need to watch their weight!) appreciates the variety and tasty offerings. We can especially recommend "Grilled Chicken Citrus Salad" and "Baked Yams with Pineapple". Even if this book's recipes only broke up the monotony of my usual family menus, it would be very worthwhile. Since one can also lose weight and feel healthier using its recipes, it is particularly worth considering. I recommend it above all other Weight Watchers and low fat/low calorie cookbooks I own and will probably still be enjoying it in all my future Weight Watching endeavors!

Summary: Lacking imagination
Review: For people wishing to purchase this book outside the US they might have some difficulties finding some of the ingredients. I definitely thought that the best recipe in the whole book was the cranberry and blueberry muffins that were absolutely wonderful. Some of the soups were appetising but most of the recipes lacked imagination or else needed fairly unusual items(especially in the baked goods section) Some of the recipes gave lower fat versions of old recipes which was probably the point of the book but if you were tired of the old recipes and wanted to try something new maybe you should try some other book.

Summary: Yum - great job!
Review: Every single recipe I have tried out of here has been excellent. My only bit of caution is to use your points finder on their nutritional info. I know, for example, that the Chocolate Chip Cakies said they were 1 point but when you use your points finder on their nutritional info, they actually came out to 2 points. Other than that, everything has been very tasty. Kudos to Weight Watchers for providing cookbooks with great TASTING recipes that are good for you.

Summary: Simply the Best says it all
Review: I recently joined weight watchers and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to follow the points system. However, I was not sure how I would incorporate the system into making dinner for my family every night. This book has been the most valuable tool in the program. I cook every night and I use this book just about every night. The recipes are easy to follow and delicious. The twice baked pototoes, at 3 points each, are out of this world. My all time favorite is the Bean Quesadillas. I have them for lunch quite often. This book is a must if you are on the program and have to cook.

Summary: Reliable, if Not Interesting Recipes
Review: I've seen more creatively managed recipes than these, but one thing about the recipes in this book - what you see is what you get. They taste ok, and have been thoroughly tested, so you don't have to worry about last minute recipe glitches that endanger dinner.

Also convenient in that the nutritional info is given, as well as the points. Points can be calculated for any entree if you know the fat content, the calories, etc, but this makes it easy in that it is provided for you.

Summary: SUPER DELICIOUS AND HEALTHY!
Review: These recipes are absolutely marvelous. I bought the book not as a means to lose weight but as a weight gain prevention measure which would allow me to maintain my current weight, continue eating healthy, and still receive proper nutrition. This book is definitely not one of those trendy upscale diets, written by a famous name celebrity, that do little more than play on an individual's desire to look "like the slim, svelt figure on the cover" (not to mention, enhance the author's already lucrative career and finances!) How many people do you know who have actually shed pounds on a fad diet, have not regained any of that weight within the next two years or less? Probably not many. Keeping weight off means adopting healthy eating habits and getting adequate, regular exercise.

"Weight Watchers" goes hand-in-hand with weight loss, weight control and nutrition. It means pure, simple, healthy eating with a flair and the recipes truly are, "simply the best!" The chicken marsala with grapes is my favourite - oooh, it is so yummy! You will not be disappointed in this book; there are enough recipes here to give you a varied selection in menu planning for quite some time, and it is all absolutely scrumptous and healthy!
