Rating: Summary: The only thing missing is portion size Review: I rec'd this recipe book as a gift (from my Amazon wishlist!) and I LOVE IT. MY husband is a finicky eater and he enjoys many of the recipes. The book includes nutritional info, meal exchanges, and the Winning Points information for each dish. The recipes are easy to follow and offer great explanations. The ONLY thing I don't like is that they neglect to give a portion size. The recipe identifies the number of servings and nutrition per serving, but there is nothing that tells the actual serving size. (Self explanatory for some items, but trying to divide a pot of soup into x amount of servings can be tricky.) All in a ll, a GREAT WW cookbook.

Rating: Summary: good weight watchers cookbook Review: Has good recipes, but I'd would prefered more pictures. It features the new winning points system. Bought another 2 WW cookbooks and I'd liked them better (New Weight Watchers Cookbook and Simply the best Italian). I'm giving it 4 stars because the recipes are good, well explained and easy to follow.
Rating: Summary: This book is great! Review: In an attempt to help my wife with her WW diet I bought this book and started cooking from it. We started rating the meals in the book, so we would remember which ones to cook and which ones to avoid. There are not many to avoid and I almost have the lasagna one memorized, its better than any other I have had, diet or not. There are many desert recipes in this book also. Typically my wife would eat frozen entrees but with this book the portions of homed cooked food are twice that of a ready-made meal and the points aren't any higher. My family has enjoyed meals, from this book, and three of us aren't on a diet :)Dan
Rating: Summary: So Good...No One Need Know that the Recipes Are Healthy!!! Review: Having joined Weight Watchers a few years ago, I purchased this book at a local bookstore. The first recipe I tried was Mushroom Barley Soup. That dish alone is worth the price of the book. As I live alone, I prepare a recipe, divide it into portions, seal each in a vacuum seal bag and freeze them for later use. I especially love the Chicken Cacciatore, Chicken Marsala, and Oven Beef Stew. It was terribly hot here today so I prepared a Tuna-Macaroni Salad. Yumm...and for five points, the servings are huge! And as a quick dessert, may I recommend the Brownie Pie. It takes minutes to prepare and has only two points a serving. As the title of the review suggests, this book will work for everyone, dieting or not. Your family will love the recipes and you won't have to tell them that the food is low fat and healthy. I have over 500 cookbooks and this is one of my favorites. It will be one of yours too!
Rating: Summary: This book is a lifesaver!! Review: I started Weight Watchers about 6 months ago and with the help of the points system and this excellent cookbook, I have lost about 30 lbs. As a mom with a young child, I need recipe's that are quick and easy, and especially tasty for my husband and son. I have yet to make a dish from this cookbook that doesn't get rave reviews. They usually don't even know it's a "low fat" recipe!! I would recommend this to anyone looking for healthier eating regardless of your cooking skills, the recipe's are easy to follow and there are great color pictures.
Rating: Summary: Simply the Best Review: This cookbook is wonderfull!!!! I am, by no means, a real good person in the kitchen. I've been on weight watchers for a while now and got tired of cooking seperate for me and my family. This book allows me to stay on my daily points and know that my family is eating healthy, as well. My husband and kids really love the recipes. The recipes are quick and easy. A dummy like me can even make a successful meal. I highly recommend this book. This book is a MUST HAVE for your kitchen!!!
Rating: Summary: My Favorite Cookbook! Review: This book is "Simply The Best" book for anyone interested in losing weight or eating healthy. The recipes are well written and easily followed. I have yet to find a recipe in this book that I don't like. I have made several of the recipes for family as well as guests. They never knew they were eating "diet" food! Almost all of the recipes use common ingredients that I either keep in my pantry or freezer, or are easily available in any grocery store. Plus, having the points printed right there with the recipe makes following the Weight Watchers plan even easier.
Rating: Summary: It Really is THE best! Review: For anyone starting in Weight Watchers this book is very simple to cook from. I have used it for the past 8 months and have lost 30 pounds and 30 inches!! My husband and children love the food combinations and it is very easy to make a shopping list from this cook book. Mine is almost worn out. My friends that have eaten what I have made have either purchased the cook book (some are not even in WW)or I have bought it for them. I will most likely need a new book soon!
Rating: Summary: Simply the Best Weight Watchers Cookbook! Review: I have yet to find a recipe in here that I can't make or doesn't taste wonderful! If you're just going on the POINTS plan, this is the book to start out with because it will make you want to stick with it! I also have the "New Complete Cookbook" and I was dissappointed with it. I think I've used *maybe* two recipes from it. Most of the recipes just aren't appealing to me.
