Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Definitely
Review: This book is just great. I think it will end up being a bestseller once the word gets out.

Regarding the content of the book, I agree with the authors that EI has been more important than my IQ. I always thought that because I was considered extremely intelligent that I should be able to control something that was fact; not fully realizing the emotional side of the situation.

I rate this book a 5, because I enjoyed it and learned something. It's had a real impact upon my life at work and at home.

Summary: Came Faster than Amazon Said
Review: First, I was pleasantly surprised that the book arrived less than a week after I ordered it. So, don't worry about the wait.

I found the book thought-provoking and a smooth read. I've read another book on EQ, but I took alot more "home" with this one. It was easy to understand and very interesting.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Smooth and Interesting
Review: The best part of this wonderful book is the online questionnaire which helped me gain insight into my talents and strengths. Although, the book itself is really great too, it just doesn't last long. I read it in the jacuzzi. I definitely recommend giving it a read.

Summary: Great Knowledge at Your Fingertips
Review: This fast book is packed with knowledge and I noticed it shipped much faster than what I was told. I learned about the traits that predict more than half of our success in life. Skills like self-awareness and self-management can be learned by us even into adulthood. How refreshing! The authors make the case that we can apply these skills in marriage, business and life in general. This book is at its best in making the general case for EI by providing a sound biological underpinning.

Summary: Excellent!
Review: This book is great. In a concise, well-written manner, the authors provide insight into human interaction and emotional self-development. This guide will help you understand the thoughts and actions of you and those around you; as well as help you to become a better, happier (and potentially more wealthy) person. As President of a software development firm, this book really enlightened me in regards to how I interact with my employees and how everyone in my firm interacts with our customers. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for self-development, or as an employee resource for any industry.

Summary: Move over Dr. Phil!
Review: This book has the real world self-psychology and understanding, not someone guy telling you to "get real." As a very brainy boy and young man in school and college I thought my future would be bright; FALSE, it came to be mediocre. Why? Because I wasn't emotionally intelligent. After reading this book my life is improving rapidly. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Thank you very much
Review: Bradberry capture the reader with an easy and yet very full understanding of how emotions come into our life and what role they have. I can recommend this book to anyone who like to understand the human nature a bit better. Things like the human body how it work in emotional situation is presented with ease and interest!

Summary: Changed my view of the world...
Review: Every once in a while, a book can open a new way of looking at something very fundamental. This book changed how I look at everything from getting along with others to defining success to playing with kids. I strongly recommend it

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Personally challenging and motivating
Review: This is an excellent and thorough overview of the dynamics of emotional maturity and responsibility. Thank you Drs. Bradberry and Greaves and your staff for all the research and hard work. This work will continue to impact our world in the coming decade.

Summary: I took a gamble...
Review: A friend of mine recommended this book and I had planned on reading it first myself to see if I wanted to use it in an emotional intelligence training here at my workplace.

Well, my schedule was hectic and I didn't get a chance to read the book, but went for it anyway and had 43 copies sent to the workshop participants a few days before the event. It worked!Every single person who attended the event read the book and took the free online assessment that came with it. We went over everyone's scores and the testing piece was their favorite. We discussed the concepts in the book and the session had the highest ratings of any training we've conducted in the last year. And, I read a copy myself ;)
