Review: Yes, this book is a must read for BOTH women and men!! Upon my return from "Woman Thou Art Loosed" 9/99 Atlanta convention, I made a point to read The Lady, Her Lover and Her Lord before year end. Well, I just completed the book last night and it is a beautifully written, well thought out, and very motivational book that WILL change your life and your relationship with your mate and God forever! Yes, it is that powerful! And the change is definitely for the better. I am forever grateful to TD Jakes for his insights and candor.

Review: If you are really in to finding out who God has chosen to be your mate, you will love reading this book. This book demonstrates the spiritual realm of marriage, from the relationship within the woman, to the relationship between the woman and the man and last but not least, the relationship between the woman and her Lord. Review: The book really helps women look deep into there past, there present, and there future. It also helps you to achieve great balance in your life. It gives a very indepth and clear understanding of what role a women plays, in God's eyes. I appreciated the way the information that he wrote was backed up by scripture allowing you to see it in God's word as well as a writing by man. This was one of the best books I have EVER read since I became a Christian, 10 years ago. P.S. The tribute to his wife, located on the second page, was PHENOMINAL!

Review: This book has done so much for me. It has made me into the virtious woman that I always wanted to be. I am more closer to my God than ever and I see my life change before my eyes. It is so wonderful to know who I am in Christ and in myself. I thank God for this book and the man who he put in charge to write it. Such powerful and encouraging words.

Review: This book was excellent it answered my questions and helped me tremendously. I loaned it to someone and they moved and didn't return it I'm going to get another one and buy one for a woman here at work, who I have been ministering to about God, she isn't saved, but she would love it. I'm going to read it again and just meditate on it. Loved it.

Identical to the conclusion drawn after reading some of Bishop T.D. Jakes' other books, there is a completely convincing feeling that God uses this man to speak powerful words of inspiration and healing to His people. Review: Once again for me "a book that makes my soul joyful". I did not have a prior reading experience with the author's writings. This book was "food for my soul", well written, honest, and a self-evaluation for the reader. Thank you Bishop Jakes for a book to awaken men and women.
